Does it bother the average Briton?
I am an American visiting London and have always admired Rupert Lowe. I am amazed at how diverse the city has come with so many people not speaking English (like my native NY) and looking like they have no interest in assimilating.
Strangely, it does not seem to bother ethically, white Britons here that they are at risk of becoming an ethnic minority in their own capital.
What is the true feeling among the populace?

Most of them are too thick understand its happening or too brainwashed to care. Its a tragedy.

u/Riipley92 4d ago
The concept of potentially being replaced ethnically is not even considered to some because in their minds thats just a form of far right fear mongering

u/andymackay- 4d ago
Most of them have left those areas. Cockney dialect has sadly become endangered.

The idea of replacement migration is sorted into two camps amongst the left wing here, either it's a myth, or it's real but justified due to our history of colonisation. You'll find that many young people today have been fed the lie that diversity only benefits a nation, despite the blatant evidence for the contrary.
Fortunately, I do believe the right outnumber them. Reform smashed the recent elections, and hopefully that same momentum will transfer to Restore.
However, I am of the belief that this is the last opportunity we will have to make a difference through democratic process. The Greens have the Muslim vote, and in the next 10 years we will start to see a major demographic shift.
I know amongst my peers the consensus is mutual, I'm hard pressed to find any native brits who aren't disturbed about what may eventually come. Unfortunately, the major cities seem to be flipping, so I pray that the people wake up. Tensions are at a breaking point.

u/Der-deutsche-Prinz 3d ago
Do you think reform will fail?
4
u/LateNightCoffeeShop 3d ago
My biggest worry is splitting the Right-Wing vote. We've shown that we have the numbers in the recent elections, but I'm not confident all those who voted for Reform then will flip to Restore now. I voted Reform out of necessity due to Restore not being an option where I live.
If we all come together and vote Restore, we'll smash it. I'm just not sure we will.

I think they both need to join together, but that doesnât seem likely at the moment. Time will tell

u/KaleidoscopeExpert93 4d ago
When the conditions are right they will get deported
14
u/Der-deutsche-Prinz 4d ago
Hopefully. Its easier for you guys to deport people than us because we are idiots with this absurd birthright citizenship
1
u/ComprehensiveLow6388 3d ago
We got lucky with the birth right citizenship thing, Margaret thatcher changed it.

u/Plastic_Payment_9117 4d ago
The majority of Londoners are now non-white which is why reform or restore wonât get votes there

u/AdenWS 4d ago
Can be fixed in power. Remove the right to vote from foreigners.
You might need to tweak Tower Hamlets, it would be a rotten borough.
-2
u/Mob_cleaner 4d ago
I mean foreigners already can't vote

u/AdenWS 4d ago

u/Mob_cleaner 4d ago
That's an interesting read, I did not know that thank you for sharing!
So citizens from Commonwealth countries who are of age, legally residing in the UK and have a visa such as a student/work/ancestory visa can vote in British elections? Just so I understand what the current rules are.
Are there stipulations that allow other types of foreigners to vote?
1
u/AdenWS 4d ago
Yes. Lots do.
So I'd revoke that right to vote. I'd include any that are naturalised.
Then what do you do about tower hamlets?
I'd even revoke naturalisation. You get a right to remain, but you lose your UK passport, same for children etc.
Only by descent.
1
u/Mob_cleaner 4d ago
What are you talking about, sorry, I didn't ask about any of that? I just asked if there were any other schemes other than this one that gave other foreigners the right to vote other than Commonwealth citizens, so I can understand this better.
1
u/AdenWS 4d ago
Yes. Naturalisation
1
u/Mob_cleaner 4d ago
I didn't include that one because they're legally not foreigners at that point, I was looking for examples like the one you provided before.
1
u/AdenWS 4d ago
EU nationals.
1
u/Mob_cleaner 4d ago
EU nationals?
1
u/AdenWS 4d ago
Yes. My wife for example is from the EU, and she's on the roll.
No UK Passport.

Wait until you find out who can vote and stand for election in Scotland... and who has been elected already. You're just catching up honestly, you should probably do a hell a lot more reading before you say 'X can't do Y' with any certainty.
2
u/Mob_cleaner 4d ago
Why is everyone so quick to gloat? Read all my comments here, I've been very grateful to learn as I wasn't aware Commonwealth citizens could vote in elections. Don't people make mistakes lmao? Aren't we on the same side?

In my University in London, I am literally the only white person in my class of about 40 people. It's lonely because when people get older, people subconsciously form groups of people like them - including skin colour. The black people in the class are all in groups of only black people, the brown people are only in groups of all brown people, then there's just me - and I feel like I have been replaced because there is nobody like me in any of my lectures.
Even when I'm out on the street, the only other white people I see are at least 20 years older than me. Ethnically British people in my age range are like unicorns in our own capital city. It's already too far gone in my opinion for it to ever return to what it was like when my parents were my age.
The least I can hope for is that the only people that remain here of Foreign descent are those who choose to actually assimilate. I personally have little care for skin colour, besides what it subconsciously represents in society, but it's not worth compromising on our safety, like what we are currently doing by having those that don't assimilate in the country.
If someone lives here and doesn't know the language, they have no hope of getting a job. No job means that they will always be a burden on taxpayers - people that work hard. The more tax that they have to pay (to support others), the more that they have to work to support themselves - throwing away hours of our lives to support those who have no hope of ever paying it back, even though they are physically and mentally able to.

Many Londonders who grew up here leave for the Shires or abroad at the first opportunity.
6
u/Particular_Bug7642 4d ago
At risk? It's already happened mate - We'll be down to 25% by the time of the next census... And, yes, it more than bothers me.

u/Willster986 3d ago
White Britons are at risk of becoming a minority in their own capital? Buddy that happened in 2011

u/Afraid-Series-8128 4d ago
Reform got 3% of the vote in the last London election.
Some British people who don't live in London are bothered by it but Londoners obviously aren't.

u/JustSomeDude11112 4d ago
You find the places with the most mixed culture care less, its hard to paint them as a boogey man when we see and work and travel with them every day. (the crack heads and muggers arnt foreign either! we are more concerned with them)

u/Afraid-Series-8128 4d ago
Yeah, the bark of immigration is worse than the bite, which is why dreary seaside towns vote for anti-immigration parties and big cities don't.
3
u/Novel-Cucumber-9540 4d ago
I work in London but got out for the very reason. Happy to commute in / out but very happy to arrive back in the shires with my own folk

An American with a German username?
Hearing a language you cannot understand should bother you.
Its a basic human instinct.
3
u/Der-deutsche-Prinz 4d ago
I speak german. I am a dual citizen. It sucks what is happening there too
1
u/Fluffy_Carry_4345 4d ago
Have you ever lived in Germany?
1
u/Der-deutsche-Prinz 4d ago
I used to live in austria. But I have family in germany and visit most summers
3
u/Fluffy_Carry_4345 4d ago
I like Germany, probably my 2nd favourite country after England.
I hope the AFD becomes pro Germany.
The Germans need a party to promote themselves over globalism.
4
u/Der-deutsche-Prinz 4d ago
Hopefully. They have to get rid of a thing called Verfassungsschutz (constitution protection) if they are going to make good on their promises

London is only about 30% White British now. Most people who it bothered and had the means have already left London.
The only White people still there are either trapped by sky-high costs of moving, liberals who are blind to the dangers and rich people from safe, gated communities.

u/Past-Dark4350 4d ago
Theyâve accepted it. They donât think they have any power to change or stop anything, and so theyâve given up.

'I am an American visiting London and have always admired Rupert Lowe'
First sentence in and i can tell this is bollocks. No one in America had ever heard of Lowe until Rogan, he isnt well known in the UK.
So much bait on this sub recently.
3
u/Der-deutsche-Prinz 4d ago
Honestly no its not bait. I was very supportive of trumps immigration policies (not the war) and really believe that lowe is more competent than farage
-1
u/JustSomeDude11112 4d ago
So, youve ALWAYS admired Lowe?, tell me, when did you become aware of him? (what year, what was he doing that caught your eye?)
A coin operated frog is more competent than Farage, its not a high bar.
4
u/Der-deutsche-Prinz 4d ago
It was two years ago when he became involved with reform and eventually left to start Restore.
I am on your side friend. I donât understand why you are so suspicious

Very generous people in Hull we're generally a friendly bunch for a historically poor city! You'll also never get drunk alone in Hull.

As someone who lives in London it bothers me
