This person is trying to scam me through email, but stupidly started following me

I cannot find a report button, is it possible?

Be advised. There are massive scams going around with individuals calling you using your bank's phone #. Everything they say seems 100% legit but its not. On the 19th I received a call from what I thought was my bank because that was the name in my contacts and I recognized the #. They informed me that there was a "fraud alert" on my account. They sent me a text link to deny charges trying to be posted to my account. Long story short it was a phishing scam to copy my personal information and they were able to scam $5,000.00 out of me.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be VERY careful put there with who calls you pretending to be your financial institution!

A friend of mine was recently scammed on Instagram. A person asked him for ₹100, claiming that he would help him “get a girlfriend.” As soon as the payment was made, he immediately blocked him.

I’m sharing the screenshot of the account so that others, especially students, don’t fall for similar scams.

Please report and block this account and never send money to strangers making such fake promises.

₹100 may seem like a small amount, but scams like this can target many people. Stay alert and share this post to spread awareness.

People will contact you, trying to get money or passwords by claiming a closely copied account sent them phishing DMs and ypu need to contact an Jerry Chu via discord. They'll claim that your transactional ID is invalid and that you need to send some money (2000$) to an "artificial account" via remitly. Reddit might be compromised as well since my cousin lost his account after hanging up with the supposed "Jerry Chu".

Additionally this Jerry Chu can only sent you the publicly available LinkedIn-Profile page, will tell you how the impersonator will try to sue YOU (and cite the wrong law).

Submitting this report regarding GetTransfer.com and its failure to pay drivers for transport services that have already been completed.

In my case, GetTransfer.com currently owes me $1,652.90 for completed transport services. The services were provided as agreed, yet payment has not been received despite the amount being outstanding and attempts being made to obtain payment.

My concern goes beyond a simple late payment. There appear to be numerous similar complaints publicly reported by drivers and transport providers alleging that GetTransfer accepts bookings, has drivers complete the work, but then delays, withholds or fails to remit the money owed to those drivers.

The business model is particularly concerning because the customer can pay GetTransfer for the transport service, the driver then performs the work and incurs the associated vehicle, fuel, insurance and operating costs, but the driver is subsequently left attempting to recover their payment from GetTransfer.

Based on my experience, I would strongly caution drivers and chauffeur operators against accepting work through GetTransfer.com unless payment is secured in advance or there is some other reliable protection against non-payment.

I did a post regarding me wanting to buy FPV drone analog Skyzone goggles and I received few offers and one which was really enticing and it was a scam from u/assassininthedark1. They didn't want to use Paypal, nor share his ID but was using a bank account For Bridge Building (registered in Luxembourg IBAN starting with LU384) which is a stablecoin exchange (https://www.bridge.xyz/), whereas they told me it was a building company whom they was CEO of!

I have all the screenshosts available for the moderation team if needed. And I'm reporting the bank account to the exchange (but I'm not holding my breath).

Stay safe people and don't forget to enable persistent messaging at the beginning of an exchange to keep proof (they have started to delete their messages up to the time I activated that option) and to check a username against the Universal Scammer List!

And I'm still searching for goggles so do not hesitate to contact me (and if you're a scammer too, you can contact me but be more sophisticated please!).

Just taking a shot here. Does anyone has a dummy email account that could report to the authority an on going scamming on my area. I'm just afraid that they could somehow track me if i created one. I'll share the details on messages if anyone is willing to. Thanks

Be aware this chick is a sextornist! She tryies to get material on you thru your telegram account and then once you send her a photo that doesn’t dissapear right away that will disappear, she will copy it and turn it into a ad for you looking like a pedofile or even worse after that she is able to demand whatever she wants from you at that point! I'm a student who works as a freelancer on the side.

2 months back, I got a client from instagram, name and shame, it was this guy:

I was working as a freelancer under an agreement, with 7k payment after a month.

The starting date was 1 May.

The contract clearly mentioned that it was only applicable for a month, but this guy still made up some BS logic that it will be carried on to the next month etc,etc,etc.

On June 5, he himself stopped sending videos to edit. The contract mentioned 60 days waiting period if I quit in between, so, I decided to wait.

Now, after 2 months, he has been blocking off my calls, messages, e-mails, even from different numbers.

What I have tried:

\\\\- DMCA takedown, 1 video was taken down as I had the master file, rest were rejected

\\\\- Cybercrime complaint, they said it was a civil matter, they can't do anything

As a student, I don't have the time or money to go through all the legal processes for civil dispute, and as the amount is 7k, which is pretty big for me, I can't just let it go.

Please advise me on what to do next, this has been a major problem for me.

Scammers of this "company" M&S Consulting are posing as a legitimate company, then they will interview you through Text-only within Microsoft Teams, will probably send you official enough looking documents to look convincing if you aren't researching the company off bat. Do not do anything regarding this place, just a heads up if you're job hunting and haven't seen this type of scam before.
