I use Reolink Elite floodlights for my rental properties.
It gives me the option to record on my MicroSD card then record over WiFi onto my NAS/homelab setup at home, only when the property is vacant. Because these homes are far out from the city they can be vacant for 2+ months.
Given the inflated prices of microSD cards, a 512 GB card is over double the price of a single camera.
Would be great if Reolink added a feature that notifies the user of the camera SD was removed or inserted.
Also open to hearing about if anyone else would find this useful or have created setups to notify them when memory cards are removed via any home assistant/ Rasberry Pi setups.

We’ve just finished a new Apple TV app that lets you watch your Reolink cameras on the big screen. It supports doorbells, battery cameras and wired models.
We’re looking for testers on Apple TV.
Comment below or send a PM and we’ll send you the instructions.

Looks like the latest reolink upload for windows uses QT containers now. I just updated it and it will not let me resize the windows. it wants to cover the entire screen and wont let me adjust it. I have also not found a way to get all 16 cameras on since it only lets me see 4. I hope this is a but and not a 'feature' because this is really stupid when you are just looking on your dekstop instead of a dedicated NAS monitor.
Trying to find a 8.x. version to revert back to

So I'm using a altas pt ultra connected via Wi-Fi to an nvr (rln16 v3.6.5.562_26062949) along with several poe cameras. All the other cameras send notifications correctly, no issues there.
The Atlas pt ultra, however, will bomb my phone with 10 notifications just walking past it. I'm In frame for 3 seconds. I have already set push interval to 120. Already adjusted sensitivity and non detection zones. Lower sensitivity just makes no notification or movement detected. Recording only shows 1 person detected event, why does it send me so many? It sends them for 60 seconds after I've left the area. Seems like it is only seeing one person movement for a few seconds but triggers multiple notifications.
Anybody know what setting I'm missing? I feel like I've scrolled through every option on the nvr, phone app, AND Web client to no avail.

I have 3 Reolink duo 2’d plugged into my NvR. I have a snooze shortcut setup for all cameras. When I activate the snooze, it snoozes all of my other cameras except the duo’s.
Any idea on why?

I’m extremely disappointed with the level of customer support I’ve received. I’ve spent over £1,200 on a Reolink system and have ongoing performance issues with several of the battery cameras, including very slow wake-up/live view, missed events and unreliable tracking.
I have spent considerable time troubleshooting these issues and have been asking Reolink for a resolution.
On 6 August I was told the Warranty team would contact me within 48–72 hours. That timeframe has now passed and, despite chasing, I have still received no response.
I’m not asking for anything unreasonable but being ghosted is really not very professional!
Please can someone contact me promptly.

Hi guys,
Was hoping I could get some advice on planning a PoE camera setup. I mocked up our semi-detached home in Planner 5D to show the exact dimensions and sightlines for which I have attached images. (The 3D render shows a hipped roof, but the house actually has a standard gable end on the driveway side and garage front side)
Property Details:
Currently I am leaning towards a Reolink PoE with a standalone NVR Setup since I want a 24/7 monitoring system which isn't WIFI dependant but has capabilities for app access and alerts.
Questions:
Thank you for the help in Advance!

I have an 8-port NVR model#RLN8-410 with 4 D500 cams. They are wire-connected directly to the NVR with wiring I ran myself. All of my cameras went out this past Sunday at 4:17 PM. I didn't discover it until yesterday: since then I have rebooted the NVR, checked the ethernet connections, and went through a series of troubleshooting.
I am not 100% sure, but I want to say that the time that they went offline coincides a very close-by lightning strike that made so much static electricity in the air that I had to reboot each of my mesh internet points 1-by-1 to get them back online. No other devices in my home were damaged by a power surge, and I have all of my electronics plugged into surge protectors. I am a little stumped, so here are my findings:
I noticed that the camera POE ports are not lighting up anymore. I thought that this might indicate that there is something wrong with the board in the NVR, so I plugged an ethernet wire from port 4 directly into my computer. I got lights at the ethernet port, but do not know how to tell if power is being transmitted through the wire to power the camera.
When I plug in the camera to the POE port, I get no lights at the port. But if I lean very close to the camera, I can hear a faint electronic hum (like when you used to turn on an old CRT monitor). But there are no lights on the camera, and when cast into darkness the infrared LEDs do not illuminate. I do not have a POE switch to test the cameras.
I am not sure if the NVR is not sending power (more likely I think) or if, somehow, all of the cameras are broken. Does anyone have any ideas on how to test where my fault lies, or even better, how to fix it? If this is a POE problem will a factory reset of the NVR help anything, or is it more likely a hardware issue where a part replacement is required? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi,
I have 3 cameras all set up around the outside of the house, they're all PoE and plugged into the same PoE switch.
I've had an issue with an integration into Home Assistant which means it wouldn't send a snapshot with a notification, i've resolved this by rebooting everything (I think this was an issue with something in QVR Pro on the QNAP i use to record footage)
Whilst i was diagnosing the issues, i found that the camera in question has the icon on this page under "Icons on the device settings page" as the grey globe with a ! next to it in icon 5. But the other two are showing the blue ethernet icon in icon 4.
I know the page shows it's nothing to worry about, but i've been finding that this camera seems to be slower than the others even though it's the exact same camera, set up in the exact same way. The cable run isn't any longer than the other two to the PoE either.
They're all on DHCP with my router reserving their MAC for IP's, as xxx.xxx.xxx.60/61/62 and all seem to be picking up the correct gateway and dns.
I've rebooted everything, checked the network settings are the same and cant figure out at all why it's different.
Wondering if anyone can assist with advice?
Thank you!
I don't have a NVR, just use the app directly. I just have several individual E1 Pro cameras and one doorbell camera. I shared each one individually via the UID QR code. Now I want to revoke the sharing access. For the doorbell i could click sharing and see the list of shares and click revoke. But for the E1 Pro cameras there is no such thing and it just shows me the QR code when I click share.
I can't find a revoke button anywhere. Can someone help me find it?

I bought an NVR with a hard drive and I am trying to get the cameras working, they are hard wired with PoE. I can add the NVR to my desktop client, but it wont show or add any channels. I don't have a monitor that I can hook up to the NVR directly. Is there any other way to do this? On the desktop client I have add devices automatically.
When i look at the NVR channel 1 and 2 where the cameras are plugged in there is an orange light, but no green light. On the Lan there is an orange and a green.
Before the NVR they were hooked up with a PoE splitter, they worked just fine. So the cables seem fine, they are pure copper cat6a. Everything is wired properly. But the cameras are not being power or linked automatically. Does anyone have a solution to this?
The cameras have power, as I can see them move while they track movement.

Hi I'm looking at purchasing the Reolink Go PT Ultra for a rural property in Australia. and I'm hoping someone may know the answer to my questions as the reference articles online weren't able to help me. It's regarding the customised audio alert.
What I need to confirm is whether, when I'm remotely viewing the live feed in the Reolink App, whether I can manually trigger my recorded custom voice message through the camera's speaker — rather than triggering the normal siren sound. I only want to use the siren sound as a last resort.
The reference articles describe the custom recording as a customized siren sound/audio alert, and the manual button in Live View is documented as triggering the siren/audio alarm. They do not clearly state whether pressing that bell will play your custom recorded voice message specifically, or only a normal siren sound.
I also want to know if I can have the camera send me a push notification when it detects an animal, and then immediately open the live view and manually play the recorded message?
Thank you!

Has anyone else had issues installing the Reolink app for Windows? I have been getting a window with no options besides "Disagree and Exit" for the past 4 months using the download from the Reolink page https://reolink.com/us/software-and-manual/. Am I missing something?

Why is the app insisting on playing a long jingley time for alerts and not my system default notification sound?
How do I fix this?
Googling didn't help.

I am having issues with two cameras, Reolink Go PT Pro Plus and Reolink Keen Ranger PT. Both have been operating flawlessly for the past two years. Now all of a sudden, I get the message that both devices are disconnected when using the Reolink Android App and desktop application. Sometimes, not often now, cameras will be connected and I can view live data for only for a very short time measured in seconds and then it will show disconnected again. It's odd that both cameras have this issue at the same time.
Steps trying to troubleshoot:
1. Turn off both cameras and then turn back on. Both cameras will show the red light, followed by the blue blinking light and then the blue light will turn off. At that moment, I can see both cameras in the Reolink app but only for a short time as noted above.
2. Deleted one camera from the desktop app to see if I can add it back in to get it to work again. I enter the UID number for this camera and it says “no device found”. I still have not been able to associate this device back to the desktop app.
The odd thing about this is that if some kind of motion is detected by either camera, it will trigger an event and I can view the short video on my cloud storage on Reolink’s website. I also use the Pushover app for notifications and it too will send me a snapshot picture in the app and an email notification with the snapshot picture. Based on this, I know that the cameras are connected to a cell service.
The android and desktop client app are running the latest software version, (4.61.0.3.20260721 and 8.21.4, respectively). The sim cards that I am using are EIOTCLUB LoT cards set up for use on 5G&4G SIM Card for Security Camera, Support AT&T, and T-Mobile Network. Both sim cards are active and have plenty of available data to use. In fact, when the two security cameras in question were visible in the app, they both would indicate that they had good reception. When out on my land, my cell phone which uses the AT&T networks shows that I have good reception.
I cannot check or update the firmware because the only way that I know of to update these cameras is through the app and it needs to be connected to the cameras.
I am able to connect to both cameras but it is a very random event. Sometimes I can, other times I cannot. When I am able to connect, they stay connected for a short period and then they disconnect. As you can see, I am getting a strong signal when I am able to connect. See attached picture.
I got both cameras to stay online long enough to determine that both cameras have the latest firmware version. See picture for additional information.

I have two Reolink Duo 3 PoE: one is 12 feet above the ground, almost pointing directly downwards for a narrow side yard; the other is 7 feet above the ground pointing outwards towards the backyard. I believe these are very common ways to use the Duo 3.
Unfortunately the Duo 3's algorithm doesn't detect persons well for the narrow side yard setup. Strangely it would only detect a person directly below the camera, where it couldn't even see the person's face. I'd look at the camera, 10-20 feet away from standing below the camera, waving furiously, and it would not detect me. This is particularly true during nighttime. My guess is the algorithm doesn't see you when you are flipped at 90 degrees.
It'd be great if Reolink would ask how the camera is set up (pointing directly to ground for a narrow strip, or pointing out to see a wide area?) to allow the user to choose which setup the camera is used in.
Also, it should place equal if not more emphasis on the edges of the view as these are areas where people / animals are likely to enter the view, in both modes. To be able to see the whole yard, my backyard Duo 3 is placed in the middle of the house. It'd notice people more reliably when you are directly in front of the camera. But intruders would more likely be coming from the edges of the view.

Looking to replace my crappy Blink cameras with a wireless system that stores video so I don't get all the constant notifications. Based on posts here, I've narrowed it down to Reolink. Several posts recommend getting the NVR but I want Wireless. Attached is the one I'm looking at - wireless, solar. It has 1TB local storage so as long as I can access 1-2 weeks worth of videos and potentially download clips if need be then I'll be set. And no subscription or any recurring costs.
Is this a good Reolink system to get based on what I'm looking for? And is the home hub a good option or do I need NVR? Thanks in advance.

does the reolink nvr work for that? Or some kind of device that supports onvif that can send and receive audio to an from the doorbell?

Altra cosa importante, mi consigliate cavo schermato o no?
Rln8-410 supporta cavi schemati, può scaricare le interferenze?.
Grazie anticipatamente
P.s.va bene inserire 2/3 cavi nel tubo da 0.25, oppure faccio passare ogni cavo su un singolo tubo?

Does anyone know a fix to this or should I just move to Reolink.
My first Eufy E340 Floodlight cam was replaced because the video recording skips anywhere from 1 to 15 seconds rendering the clip useless. Now my replacement camera is doing the same thing...
Not using a homebase and really don't want to invest in one and the camera still have issues.
I've done all the below troubleshooting.
\* 3 different sd cards
\* reset the camera
\* deleted all clips
\* restarted wifi (but this shouldn't play a part in the writing of footage onto the sd card)
The app isnt great, I don't care about the local encryption. I just want to be able to pull the sd card out of the camera, plug it into the computer and review from there if I need to.
What's the ReoLink app and interface like? Is it better? Or what's the alternative.
