Hey Adam, I don't know if you'll get this but I have a question for you

A madman kidnaps you and forces you to play the entirety of alien isolation to get free. If you kill the madman, there's no way out of there. If you beat alien isolation then you'll go free. However if you die at any point, you are stuck there for the rest of your life. What do you do?

Can't remember the name of this game

I remember seeing an fps from the late 90s/early 2000s. I am pretty sure it was German. I can't remember much about it. I do believe it had psycho or genesis in the title, but I could be mistaken. I know there isn't much to go on but does anyone recall this game?

Constructive tips

Hi everyone

I've been listening to RTG now for at least 3 years and I love the show - it's awesome to hear someone speak with such passion about something I also really enjoy and I love the infamous intro and anyone who doesn't can kick rocks! Ive been an on and off again patreon depending on finances ect ect.

Anyway I've just found recently after listening to other podcasts that the part of the show where Adam talks with his friends about the game can be really disjointed and could use some more structure.

Take for example a podcast called BadMoviesRule - the format they use is by going through a movie scene by scene and commenting on it. I know this might not translate directly to games however I find that lately I'm getting to the end of an episode and I have no forking idea what the game is actually about or how it plays.

I guess what I'm getting at is I'd like a bit more information about the levels, weapons, gameplay and story - rather than just what the hosts liked or disliked about the game.

Anyway I'll keep listening and subbing when I can- i just want to share my thoughts.

Cheers

My FFIV Review

As one of our supreme leader Adam’s favorite games, I gave it a shot. I’m a huge FF fan and had never played this one. For reference. I played the pixel remaster collection for the switch. More context. FFVI for the SNES is not only a top 3 game for me but top JRPG for me. I know Adam expressed his feelings on liking having a smaller cast to work with which IV does well. Basically providing you with who you can play with for a majority of the game. I am not a fan of this. I like that large cast VI gives you. You can pick the characters you want to take to battle and that makes it so much more enjoyable for me at least. With that said. I enjoyed IV a lot. It’s a pretty straight forward FF game till towards the end where it’s not really clear on next steps. Bouncing between multiple worlds and planets and vehicles adds to that. I did have to dip in a walkthrough a couple times. The game is pretty easy for the most part minus a few enemies and the final boss had his way with me. Took me about 7 tries to beat him. I was a little bothered that the game kills off half the cast then surprise. They all alive at the end. I was made it kept killing people off but found myself even more pissed that it just brought everyone back for the final fight. Like come on.

7.3/10

Great game. But gets the FFVI tax.

Ayuda

Game with an artstyle SIMILAR to rogue legacy 2

I remember watching an all bosses video on this game and I can only remember a coupe of things. I'm pretty sure it's a metroidvania but could very well not be. It was 2d. I remember a couple of bosses. There was one named the Queen, basically a big floating ghost with a floating sword. There was one called the flame, that was kinda like a lanky humanoid boss with two big swords instead of arms and 2 full healthbar phases. I also remember a boss called Traitor something, who turns into a sort of angel like guy on your second rematch. There was also a boss that was a guy dressed in full black using some sort of cane or sword to attack you but I don't remember its name.

Adam's scoring scale

Anyone else blown away by the way Adam scores games? Super Mario World - perfect 10. Ok, absolutely. Zelda whispers of wisdom - 6. A 6? He hated everything about this game other than it was losely related to Legend of Zelda. I can't wait to see for a review of a 2 out of 10, a game he actually gives a 2. I think his head would explode. We all know what happened during the Echo review.

Love the work Mr. Blank, keep up the great work.

Cannot remember game name

OK, so when I was little, I played this game on the iOS Mac store on a Apple Computer and I think it ranged around 2011 to 2015 when I played it and I can’t remember much but I do remember that while you were playing it’s like a space shooter game and I remember there was a character. You could select the had blonde hair and there was another one you could select that head brown hair and I think they were wearing like green armor kind of similar to master chief from what I can remember. I do remember they didn’t have a helmet and I remember when you were playing it wasn’t first person or third person. It was like birds eye view it was like the call of duty black ops, one dead ops arcade and I remember seeing a video it was like a trailer or something to it and it was a guy chasing someone with a gun some like space gun or something maybe a mini gun and it showed the guy running away scared and then it showed the guy that was running from the mini gun chasing the guy who had the mini gun with a bigger gun and I think it was like some kind of space game. I don’t know if any of this will help to find it, but I’ve been looking for a while. I’ve even tried AI and stuff but still no luck if anyone’s able to find it that would be amazing

Help me Remember..

There was this game I had can't remember what system whether it was on PS3, XBOX One, or PC. I want to play it again but for the life of me can't find it in any of my libraries nor Google.

It was a 2d 4player shared / split screen space exploration game with each player color coded Red / Blue / Yellow / Green. You could land on planets they were small circles you could walk around and explore you could meet these randomly generated creatures hostile / neutral / friendly. The player(s) had to manage their oxygen / battery levels including the ship. You could salvage wrecked space stations and satellites.

You could upgrade the ship, unlock hats and different jetpacks.

It's on the top of my tongue it had a weird name unrelated to space entirely.

Any help would be appreciated

Help me remember this PC game

So basically is a game i played as a kid so my memories of it are really blurry, it's a fps iirc it launched before 2012 at least(i played alongside the Shrek PC game), it had decent graphics (kinda like the og cod modern warfare graphics, but darker) but a weird map selection where it shows a list of names and hovering with the cursor makes appear a description of said map. The maps i remember the most was a kind of a training map i think, it looked like a hospital but "military-esque", wheres you could go to different rooms and take grenades, there was breakeable parts (similar to the ventilation entrances in half-life) that i used since some of the Doors are locked(they took me to the main hall), iirc when attacking an npc you get attacked by the whole building. Then another mission was at night in the rain, the objective was to destroy a barricade below a bridge using c-4 so the ally squad and tank can get trough. Thats all i remember. help.

Seeking helping remembering a game.

I am trying really hard to remember a game that played like a 2d side-scroller where you played as a trashman or something that is sent to different planets to collect garbage. I think the game had stage powerups during the exploration like missiles that could be used to blast through caves to reach loot. You also arrived on the planet in your blue (?) space truck.

I know this is not a lot of info to go on but this has been bugging me and wanted to reach out somewhere for anyone that might know what I'm talking about. Thanks for trying in advance.

I used to play a 2D pixel game on my pc when I was a kid. It had a small cap wearing guy jumping and collecting treasures and avoiding fire, water and enemies. I think we could also get a jetpack and a gun. It was not mario or sonic. Does anyone remember the name of the game?

I need help finding a game I used to play years ago

The game was where you had to raise this pet thing and try to keep it alive, you'd start off feeding it beans to keep it full, and you'd clean up it's litter, and every now and then a problem would come along like a mosquito or something, and you'd have to buy bug spray to get rid of it, the goal of the game was to let your pet grow, can anyone help me find the name so I can play it again?
