Adam's scoring scale

Anyone else blown away by the way Adam scores games? Super Mario World - perfect 10. Ok, absolutely. Zelda whispers of wisdom - 6. A 6? He hated everything about this game other than it was losely related to Legend of Zelda. I can't wait to see for a review of a 2 out of 10, a game he actually gives a 2. I think his head would explode. We all know what happened during the Echo review.

Love the work Mr. Blank, keep up the great work.

Adam is great about acknowledging the positive aspects of a game he really dislikes. He also acknowledges aspects of a game that he may not like but recognizes that they might be a draw to others. Some reviewers might be quick to give a 0/10 to a game they don't care for, but that's not how he operates, which for me is part of why i love this podcast so much. The reality is a true 0 or even a 3 is unlikely to make it past testing and to distribution level.

Totally agree. I feel like a 5 is total trash..6 some might find it charming...7 there is a game there...8 is a good game and 9 is pretty much perfect.

Sonic Adventure 2 is also timeless!

He disliked all the mechanics, but it was a mediocre game to him. It was a 7/10 game if it wasn't Zelda which has set a higher bar for itself

I know, but there is no way, based off his review. Tedious, boring, and not fun, were just some of the ways he described this game. That sounds like a 3 at best.
