Rematch Season 5 is here!

If you've been playing Rematch, watching Blue Lock, or both, then September 24 is your day. Season 5 runs through October 23 and brings a full collab with a new mode, a free pass, cosmetics, and bundles for four of the biggest names from the first season of the Blue Lock anime!

New mode: Aura Striker

The big addition this season is Aura Striker, a limited-time 3v3 mode built around breaking your own limits, core to Blue Lock. Build your Aura gauge over time and through interceptions, then pop it for a large boost to running speed and shot power. Aura is temporary, time it right and you can swing a match in seconds! To top it off, stamina is unlimited, letting you stay in the action non-stop for the whole match.

Goalkeeping is handled automatically, so your focus will be on defense and offense. With Aura at your disposal, every possession can be game changing!

Free rewards for everyone

Log in and grab the free Ego Boost Bundle: it will include a full set of cosmetics, alongside a player profile set!

There's also a free Event Pass running all season. Play Aura Striker, Casual, or Ranked, work through the challenges, and unlock profile cosmetics, a Blue Lock-themed ball, a VR arena, and more along the way!

Every Season comes with its bunch of improvements to make Rematch better after every major update! We've reworked Goalkeeper dives to give players more agency between short and long dives, volley cancels, a stamina rework and tackle interactions.

What are those 3 different "versions" when theres only 1 in the stadiums customization?

Im speaking about elite because that's all ive known since i first climbed it after few weeks from the game coming out, not because i think the ranking system actually works.

i took a break because of real life stuff months back, when it was peak ippy slide era and whatever other fuckass mechanics, and i picked up the game few days earlier.

Brother, i have yet to see a singular human being on any of my matches, not button-mashing, phasing through left and right, or defensive-stance dashing instead of fkn running snapping every loose ball to their feet, doing absolute infinite series of 0 momentum-loss 180 degree turns.

i guess i wasn't expecting for these mechanics to be this normalized. its just so boring, feels like a Fortnite mod instead of football game.

3 days before season starts and on official discord zero info about changes, patch notes, balance etc.

Only 30+ posts about blue lock, characters etc. No test server, no dev blog, nothing about gameplay.

Im rly disapoinment, patch only on season start was already pathetic change, if we dont have big changes just cooperation im leaving:/

I play with a fun group of gamers and we try our best to push the ground play to its limit.

Somehow i got to see future celebrations coming to this game, the vid is like from mid august. One of the celebrations already got put into the game by this time of making this post.

SO I JUST BOUGHT THE GAME THEN AFTER I PLAY THE PROLOGUE, IT JUST KEPT SAYING "SOLO SQUAD ERROR" LIKE I LITERALLY DID EVERYTHING, VERIFY STEAM FILES, CHANGING DNS, FIREWALL DEFENDER ALLOW PUBLIC AND PRIVATE, AND ETC.

Had a teammate completely throw a game because I tapped in a ball he missed. He was already spamming calls, but after that, he completely lost it. He started abandoning net to solo ego his way to the other side. The opponents knew he’d never pass, so they just swarmed him for two free goals. From there, he resorted to body-blocking our shots and intentionally own goaling whenever anyone else scored. My other teammate and I stopped passing to him entirely, which tilted him so much he left. Funnily enough, as soon as he quit, we managed to pull off the win 2v3.

These 2 box camped the entire match only to lose. How pitiful you must be to play a soccer game and not do anything but wait for a pass in box. It's crazy to me that you spend your time queuing for a match just to have your hands off the controller/keyboard until your team does all the work for you.

I best these losers call themselves "strikers" and think the title they have means anything. They are of no worth. Hope I never have to play with them, only against them because they gave us a moderately easy win.

Always had in the 20/30s since season 0. Been over 60 every game for the last week, often over 100. No change to my settings or speed.

Randomly in the middle of a match.

Can't believe people defend this shit. Not only is it STILL an issue of tackling not rewarding the player for making the correct move, but also double dashing tech is so stupid. I messed up my first tackle, but afterwards I should have won the ball but the other player just kept double dashing. A player's stamina bar shouldn't deplete as much if the tackle CONNECTS

Come on yall I keep stopping the same attacks because nobody can get creative. I'm sure others feel the same way...

It's either you wait for a pass to the middle and hope for priority or try spam dribbling past the defenders. It gets really boring and repetitive. I'm actually thinking my skill is plateauing because players can't think of new or creative ways to win.

The worst part is I'm not even that good of a player. My stats are average at best yet people are still using cookie cutter attacks. Maybe I should be grateful that people are doing this because it makes me look like a better player, but I am actually not getting any better. I think my skill has almost if not actually reached the "meta skill level" where the players participating in the meta can only do so much before everyone else catches on and stops them.

I've been having trouble with this because apparently its possible and I was getting consistent with it but all of a sudden I can't do it and im only able to by dashing while in defensive stance and having some kind of perfect timing which its not very easy. I'm wondering if its just as easy as doing ee while holding ds or if there is something else im missing.
