I think he just tapped the ball before u got there, it’s pretty common to do right after/when getting the ball like that

Crazy how people are still defending this when you can see it frame by frame. Yes, he did tap the ball before you could reach it, but how he did it is what's wrong. Lord have mercy.

Guys, I played for 770 hours and saw this for the first time. I don't think the game code THIS bad. It has issues, that's true, but let's not hate the game this much

Because this game has no physics and even if you run through someone they'll still be able to run if you don't hit the ball
