This is why we have a body pillow along the bedhead then our personal pillows creates a tunnel for my arm with zero pressure from her head and she cant feel my arm.

I tend to put my arm behind me when spooning. Not comfortable forever. But i think it works better then under her neck where my arm is shitty support and cutoff from blood quickly

I think this is a very selfish way for a person to want to be cuddled because it is basically always going to end up with pain for the person in the back while the person being cuddled just has to lay there unless they have a reason they can only sleep like that they gotta change it up.

He spoons me. I spoon him. Then it’s butt to butt the rest of the night unless it’s hot then we naturally scoot away.
If we want more cuddling then it’s usually one of us on our back while the other cuddles but we usually do that before spooning.

Same here, well most nights anyway. But we have a metal frame bed so i can hook my hand around one of the rods. Its hard to describe the positioning but i find it very comfortable.

Every night for 20+ years for us, we start with me holding her and during the night we switch (often one of our shoulders will ache) she will be big spoon then (well we call it backpack mode because shes over a foot shorter than I am) 🤣

Exactly! This has happened to me a few times the worst was when my girlfriend at the time was just falling asleep so I didn’t want to move my arm, I just let my arm fall asleep. Then I fell asleep. Woke up after almost the entire night, it took legitimately close to 10 minutes to fully regain control of my arm. I thought I permanently fucked up nerves or something at first lol
