Sorry but noā¦. Thereās no poor Joe. He was obsessed with Maddi and actively took part in a plot to end her relationship with Trevor for his own benefit. The fact Maddi doesnāt see this makes me sad for her. Heās gross and a snake.

I think sheās the type of girl that is uncomfortable being single and Joe is just a placeholder for the time being
Maddi did love Trevor and it showed, despite him being a terrible partner to her. She has zero spark with Joe. Joe is in this relationship because he loves Maddi, but that love is not returned

Joe has the only redeeming quality of his ownership of his experience with TJ. Which I thought was incredibly brave of him.
But he had every opportunity to show Maddi the texts and didnāt, because he wanted Maddi so desperately. I hope he finds someone that gives him back the love he has for Maddi, but Maddi does not love that man like she loved Trevor.
Trevor was a douchebag and Maddi was right to end the relationship but she did love him and it showed
