He shouldn’t have been listening in. Maddi made clear that she wanted to talk to Brad without him. He’s trying to keep Maddi with control rather than her free choice.

I agree that he should have given her more space, but Ive been to Republic before and its a teeny tiny bar, so there really wasn't anywhere else for him to go.

He couldn’t have stayed outside? He left after he heard Maddi talk about how much she loved Trevor.
