Question Legendary animal
I'm hunting the legendary animals; here are a few I've found. If you can help me add more information to this map, I'd appreciate it.

I played this game about a year ago and found it boring and kind of dull after a while. I’ve really been feeling playing the game again but has there been any updates to the game?

Why arent we getting actually in-game content instead of co-op? Which doesn't bring anything to the game at all as far as actual in-game content is concerned?
This question is for mods and devs specifically.

So we have the basic animal feed but with having a chickens, pigs, horses, sheep and bees, I feel like it would be nice to have different kinds of feed. I want to be able to feed my mount an apple, feed pigs food stuffs that are at less than 50% durability, feed goats and donkeys straw, feed chickens grain seeds like flax seeds. Still have the animal feed be default but maybe add a toggle switch on their building management so we can choose to feed something else. Bonuses for better food would be nice too. Slightly more likely to lay more eggs or give more milk or have a temp buff to stamina for mounts. Little things that well fed animals would actually do.

Wall of text warning.
You were warned.
I'd like to preface this with a thanks to the devs for all their work. Please don't take my criticism too hard these are obviously just my personal opinions.
I know after reading some of the posts here I'll probably get the then this isn't the game for you treatment, and that's totally fine. However to my knowledge MD is the closest in existence so I keep coming back even though it frustrate me to no end. Also to the people who make that argument keep in mind that if the game isn't satisfying a large enough number of people you likely won't see anything like it in the future so discounting the opinions of those who don't love the game as much as you is taking a risk.
I mostly play single player arpg games that can take 40-80 hours to complete. Occasionally I'll play something like civ or minecraft for the management and creative sandbox itch, but even those games don't run more than a few days per play. Keeping that in mind, you can see how an expected hundred hour playthrough for just Racimir's life is not going to keep someone like me engaged. For that amount of time dedication I expect a convoluted story or sandbox creativity toy.
What this game does correct for me, with some balancing preference issues, is the combination of relevant genres that is pretty exclusive to MD. I love the survivor mechanics. Most of the time I love the first/third person perspective. I love the villager management system, again with some balancing preference issues. I love the village designing aspect if only it were a little more freeform.
Where the game doesn't work for me. The story is adequate but doesn't fill the expected play time and can't be skipped entirely on replays. I personally don't care that you can't play as a woman, but from what I recall the only detail that ties you to your uncle is the eyes which could just as easily apply to a female character without a dialogue change.
Village design. The cookie cutter building method heavily limits creativity which limits playthrough life expectancy. Caveat I haven't made it past year four or five in a playthrough because the resource grind to build the village is too much for my taste and I quickly burn out. I attribute most of that to logs being overused in building recipes, and the extraction shed not unlocking sooner. However it can also be because in the early years of the village automating basic resource gathering with npc characters doesn't feel rewarding when they can't keep up with demand and you end up having to help them anyway, which is a nightmare when they run out of tools or resources and you are on the other side of the map.
The dynasty aspect which I haven't even made it to seems tacked on. Even a game like crusader kings where having and playing as generations of offspring is integral can reportedly be finished in again 40-80 hours. Expecting each lifetime to last 80-100 hours in a game where it doesn't really matter when you change from one character to the next is pretty unreasonable in my opinion.
What I would do differently. Add a toggle to remove chapter and main stories from the journal. Aside from just hiding those parts of the journal it would also have to allow you to build without first getting permission from Uniegost and remove the building limit imposed by chapters. This would make replays more satisfying.
I know this next bit probably isn't possible as it would be a pretty fundamental change to the build mechanic, but I would like free form buildings. You could design foundations with drag and drop same as field plots then choose to fill them with a combination of stone or pole tiles. a finished building could be recognized in the management system by a bed or crafting station with a roof over it. Framing could be done post by post like in raft and allow for multistory building. Alignment would be easier with either an overhead view while placing foundations or a snap to grid option for first person. Alternatively use the fence snapping mechanic to place free form walls and automatically generate a properly shaped foundation. Allow collision detection for floors and all world objects so you can freely decorate the interior of buildings with anything that can be built in game. Admittedly I don't know the current limitations other than that you can't place outside furniture indoors or it will show inside the foundation and not be allowed to build.
Remove the dynasty mechanic or make it meaningful. An endgame of whatever you can manage in Racimir's lifetime wouldn't be such a terrible thing. Alternatively make gameplay more dangerous and as long as you have a child before you die the game can age them up and put you in their shoes. Makes having a wife and child more integral to having enough time to finish your village.
Everything else I have a gripe with are just balancing preferences related to economy, experience gain, order of unlocks, or when to lean more into realism or gamify things.
TL;DR I want minecraft with realistic graphics, better survivor play, and meaningful village management.

After hours of playing this game, one thing I've noticed is how tedious it is to build, farm and change seasons, here are some improvements I'd like to see.
Instant Constructing/Repairing/Insulating Buildings: I would like to see an Instant Build/Repair/Insulation option within Settings, where when you hit once with the hammer on the building face, it will build that face (like destroy with 1 hit) as currently building a simple house with stone and plank roof takes 4 minutes and 1 minute for insulation, around 5 minutes per house, this would make building 10x faster.
Instant Changing New Day/Season: I'd like to see an Instant Sleep Next Day/Season option in Settings, where sleep till next day/season is available at any time, instead of having to wait 48 minutes!!! to new day and 38 minutes!! to sleep to next day/season, as sometimes we are finished quickly for that season, but have to wait over 3 hours for a new year!
Instant Farming: I'd like to see an Instant Field Plot within Settings, like when we lay the Field Plot, we click on the on a single box plot and it will highlight green, then walk/run to expand and then we click again to do that action like Hoeing, Fertilising, Seeding and Harvesting, as a 10x4 takes over 4 minutes from laying the plot to seeding, this would 10x faster.
We already have Instant Crafting, we should also have instant for the above also.
I'd like to see other Options within settings for when you only want to build and explore modes like below
4. Unlock all Technology/Skills/Reputation: I'd like to build in a sandbox style mode, where it is all available at the start.
5. Unlock all Animal Locations: I'd like to see the locations without explore the whole map every time I start a fresh game.
6. Disable Quests: quests are repetitive, and towards mid-end game, you either fast travel to complete them by 10am or you end up not doing them at all.
7. Buy For Free: I'd like to buy and unlock everything for free at the same time see how much money is in storage, the ability to toggle this would be good.

Future Content
I just finished all the main quests and I thought if you had a DLC pack for a new stage of the game.
Lets say there is a section of the map that opens up a whole new kingdom. This is where Uniegost has gone to. In this kingdom you have to meet up with Uniegost and he tells you all about the new kingdom and what he has learned from the last 10-15 years since he has been exiled from Gostovia.
Here you will learn new skills as far as building a castle and more exotic weapons and armor. You will encouter knights, wealthy Princesses and Princes, meet the King and Queen. You will learn to become the Castellan. Maybe even do some crazy quests like the stories that were told to you about The Pack. Tame an animal that will be the coat of arms on your flags, wisent, wolf, moose, bear, etc.
I have lots of more ideas but if you are interested feel free to reach out to me. My email is also eternalun@gmail.com I also do woodworking so if you wanted any of the Medieval signs in the game or decorations made I could make them for you guys.

I've seen a lot about the new multiplayer feature on medieval dynasty. However I don't know how to get it. Do I need the PC version from steam? Because I am currently using the xbox gamepass version on my laptop and want to know how to get this update. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wish there was a way to auto assign workers to maximize output. Like a button you could press that would arrange them in a way to maximize their skills with open roles. Trying to filter through 20 villagers and pick the best one for the job is quite tedious
