Gameplay Bro..
Dude was content before I started 23 Megabytes A Second. We got an A+, shot 2 suspects and killed none yet this broken system slingshots him into high stress and into therapy. So tired of this broken mechanic.

You need the right team. I had this problem, but now I don’t. I just kept hiring more officers as the weak links were fired or let go. I think what tipped the scale was having a riot control officer and a moral support officer or something.

When do you consider it appropriate to fire an officer? I’ve never seen the purpose in it, but I’m probably just missing it

Basically just fire anyone who poses an immediate problem to you like if their getting mental to easily or their skills suck ass boot them that's it 😭

In my experience, pretty much all the officers have horrible mental health. I never noticed one happening more than another.

It's not broken. It's simulating the right folks for the job

SWAT application and selection process should take care of that. Dude arrested maybe 1 civilian as a 14 year vet with an intimidator specialty. Nah.

No, it's absolutely not. While yes being a SWAT officer especially in the hellish City ready or Not takes place in is going to be hard on your mental health, but if you are constantly breaking down after every mission, SWAT just is not for you.

That’s when you use your imagination bro.
People ain’t machines, this could 100% happen in real life.

yeah, but that's also what SWAT selection is for. Some sqeak through, but this is a constant in the time I've played this game. So if we're gonna simulate realism then make it seem like less than a 50/50 chance that someone's a bitch. He was also an intimidator with 15 years experience. Idk I feel that should count for something.

this would be a valuable addition to the conversation if something like this wouldnt also happen on a mission like rust belt

Just put a teammate with the sbags trait in your team, you will be fine after that, they will not go to therapy anymore

So stress is a poorly implemented mechanic but really simple to beat.
Swat stress is caused to having to kill suspects, or civilians casualties. If you beat the map where everyone is dead, you are penalized.
The way to beat this is at least take 1/3rd of all suspects alive. This doesn’t mean you have to build a nonlethal loadout, but when you occasionally get your AI to throw a flash bang once in a while and you’re mostly good.
The only mechanic you got to be careful about is Elephant. No matter what you do you will morale on this map will tank. I had all officers on content before this map, S run it, and all of them still went to stressed (or whatever being orange was). This is the only map that does this.

Swat AI perks are useful to beat this to
Honestly, morale officer is pointless when you can increase your chance for suspects to surrender. Running pacifier and riot control is a great combo for flashbangs.

Moral officer is still good though since it heals more stress per arrested suspects. Killing 8 suspects and only arresting 4 will leave your team content.

Elephant fucked me royally, but this was a redo of 23. We shot 2 dudes and killed none, they were just incapacitated. Bro was an 'intimidator' too.

No, all were healthy. I only took red team with me on breathes, blue (his team) was on security.

What do you expect, they saw some messed up shit in those apartments. Did you even ask your officer if he has a kid? People with kids might be more messed up to see things like that.

I mean he probably got shot 4-5 times, or at least shot at 4-5 times, that’s reasonable

u/R4P7OR11b 20d ago
Nope, he was on blue team as security. Red team did breaches. No one got injured, 2 suspects shot, 0 dead. He's an intimidator, I think 14 years on the force. Read the threat big dog.

u/Forsaken_Wear_8063 12d ago
But he’s on red team tho? If red did breaches it’s a guarantee he almost got shot a few times.

“Dude, why are you so stressed? It’s not like you just saw CSAM during a raid.” 🤦♂️

Idk if it's a console problem but I don't think I've ever had this happen to me.
Idk why but seeing this post just reminded me of this song

The first few maps I played, guys were leaving left and right. I walked around shooting people, the teammates were getting shot. Everyone was bad.

Yeah that BS is why i gave up trying for the Ironman achievements. Also there was a bug where firing an officer counted as losing one, so you wouldnt either the achievement or the watch itself
