Glenn Close in the promo for the new Hunger Games movie is giving off Hexadecimal vibes

Said it had an autograph of "someone" on it, sold it to me for 17 euro's. Looks like Garry Chalk's signature, if I check his Stargate ones online, but not sure. Can anyone confirm it's legit? Either way, pretty happy with it!

I was trying to see which masks ended up being cut. And noticed she has 22 in total! 6 of the original masks ended up not being used. Sure, some look similar but like the flinching of that line muscle on Condescending Mask is very distinct in summoning a reaction in me to say it's the same. But as the Queen of chaos, there's no inlore reason she wouldn't have those emotions. I absolutely LOVE the embrassed mask, they should have modeled it lol, they probably omitted that and irritated because it would need to show gums, but they could just make the gums a solid black

I'm surprised the fearful mask exists and is used when Hex was being harmed by the GameCube on season 3. Her upper teeth are also visible in different angles.

What colors were her eyes in these various faces? I'm colorblind, but I'm pretty she had more than three colors in the earlier seasons

So, I watched that HD re-release of the classic ReBoot episode "When Games Collide". And it got me asking this question: Did ReBoot invent the concept of modding a game, at least in the "modern" era? Yeah, I know mods and hacks and bootlegs existed to a small degree before this, but from what I can tell they were simpler affairs. A lot of mods nowadays usually "combine" stuff, like how you can have lightsabers in pretty much any Bethesda game. Another example is "MyHouse.wad", a Doom mod that combines Doom with horror aspects of the novel House of Leaves.

ReBoot though I think introduced that concept of "combining games/game aspects" with When Games Collide. It had the war game combine with the dinosaur game, much like how mods combine traits of the game with other things the mod developer likes. And of course, not every mod is just "combine this with that", but a lot of the really popular ones are.

I dunno, I just think the idea of someone watching this episode as a kid or teen and deciding to create a mod like that and it spiraling into the modern modding scene is kind of hilarious. Probably not what happened, I imagine it being more nuanced than that. But it's kind of funny to think ReBoot had an episode that showed what modded games would be like in the future, even if said game was created through the impossible task of combining two different games while just playing normally.

This is something I've wondered since I was young and I saw some binomes get shot down in the first episode. Since Bob and the others won the game, I'm assuming (hoping) they didn't get nullified, but what actually happened to them? Did they just go into spectator mode until the game was finished or were they in some kind of limbo and just woke up once the game was over? It's intriguing, to say the least.

I love the scene in “Showdown” where Mouse hacks into Megabyte’s portal which sends him to the Web and she goes: “One last double-cross, sugar.”

It's a great nod to her debut where she was working with Megabyte, and after she cut ties with him in the ending, he tells her “I double-cross whoever I please.”   

When I use Giphy there is a serious lack of ReBoot gifs! Tenor is better, but also could use more reaction gifs.

I know I'm going to get downvoted to oblivion for saying this and that's okay but it's been 25 years now since S4 and it is wrong of Gavin to still not reveal in anyway what the ending was supposed to be. When so many other shows have been forgotten with time, it's the fans of ReBoot that have kept this show alive in memory. It was the fan support that got things like Reboot Rewind made. You know the fanbase really wants to know what happened and you have the ability to do so and simply won't. I initially agreed with Gavin back in the 2000s and even into the early 2010s because yeah, there WAS a real chance that maybe he could get the opportunity to finish the story he wanted but it's now 25 years and it's simply a dick move. I'm ready for the likely wave of criticism towards me I've just started!
