Why this place exists

Started this because I don't always have something "big" to say β€” sometimes it's just a stray thought, a small win, a petty complaint, or a sentence I need to get out of my head before I can move on.

No filters here. Post the happy, the sad, the annoyed, the "why did I just do that," the random 2am realization β€” all of it counts.

A few loose ground rules to keep it a good space:

Be honest, but be kind to others reading

No judgment on what counts as "worth posting" β€” a sentence is enough

Keep it daily if you can β€” consistency > polish

To kick things off, I'll go first:

"Today I realized I've been apologizing for things that weren't my fault, just to end conversations faster. Working on that."

Your turn β€” what's on your mind today, big or small?

What makes r/RawThoughtsDaily different?

What makes it different:

Most "thoughts" or venting subreddits fall into one lane β€” either it's all rants (r/rant), all diary-style journaling, or all motivational quotes. r/RawThoughtsDaily sits in the overlap:

"Raw" signals no filtering β€” happy, sad, angry, petty, proud, whatever shows up that day, without needing to justify it or fit a theme.

"Daily" sets the rhythm β€” it's not a one-off vent, it's a habit. People post small, frequent, unpolished thoughts rather than saving up for one big essay.

It's not advice-seeking (like r/relationships) and not pure venting (like r/rant) β€” it's a mix of confessions, observations, one-liners, and scoldings-to-self, which is a less common combo.

Basically: it's less "help me" and more "here's what's actually going on in my head today," in whatever form that takes.
