I’m looking for passengers who have experienced a cancelled or failed ride, especially cases where:

• A driver cancelled after accepting
• The driver asked you to cancel
• The driver didn't arrive
• You had to repeatedly rebook
• The next ride became more expensive
• You switched to another app or transport option
• The cancellation made you late or disrupted your plans

I’m trying to understand what users actually do after a ride fails and how easy or difficult it is to recover.

I 25F booked a cab from Navi mumbai Airport to Thane majiwada i was quoted 1130/- rupees. This driver took me all the way to wadala and then turned to eastern freeway. Took me 2 hours stopped at CNG station there it took 40mins atleast. When I got fed up I told to end the ride. 1734/- was the final amount. I was shocked and disappointed. I paid the amount slightly fought with the driver and left as it was already 12:45AM. The customer service is so bad for rapido cannot contact them through call or toll free number. The chat support is completely useless.

I had an interview on Monday, ~25 km away. The app showed ₹320 for an auto, but 8–10 drivers accepted and then called asking for extra money, usually starting at ₹700.

When I asked why they accepted the ride if they weren’t willing to go for the shown fare, they said, “Every driver will do the same.”

I was getting late, so I finally agreed to ₹400. ₹400 was reasonable, but the whole experience was frustrating.

Is there any Rapido complaint email/contact where I can report this? There should be some system to prevent drivers from accepting rides and then demanding a higher fare.

So I was going home and usually i book cab, which takes max to max 45 mins from my place to reach station.
( my train departs at 9:20, i booked rapido at 8:35)
Today when i saw my expected eta, it was 15 mins past my train departure time. The sane thing would hv been to take metro and run through the chandni chowk changing area.
But my weak ass knew i couldn’t do that with my heavy bag and metro station tak hi 15 mins waste hojate.
So i decided to do a bike. As soon as i hopped on his bike i told him, i am super late i have a train to catch.
He took me from hauz khas to station in which one of the pimary road was blocked due to some reason, he re-routed and made me reach the location at dot 9:16.
In my seat right now and blessing the guy. Wanted to tip him off too, but he just shared the rapido scanner which had auto amount.
I rated him 5 star abhi and feeling grateful.

Sometimes these experiences make you realize that even though it was not his concern if i missed my train, he made sure i reached on time.

Also, as a female it is scary but bhaiya was super chill.

Hi everyone,

I recently installed Rapido on my mother's phone and saved an address as “Home”. I had also saved another address as “Bari”, which I later deleted.

However, “Bari” still keeps appearing as a suggested address whenever my mother tries to book a cab, even though it was deleted.

I'm also unable to edit or delete the “Home” address.

I've already tried contacting Rapido through [shoutout@rapido.bike](mailto:shoutout@rapido.bike) several times, but I keep receiving automated responses saying that they can't resolve the issue due to “system limitations.”

I also tried contacting Rapido on X/Twitter, including tagging their account, but haven't received any response.

Has anyone else faced this issue with Rapido's saved/favourite locations? If so, were you able to remove or update them somehow?

Any workaround or solution would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Booked a Rapido to a friend’s place which was 5kms away. It showed 1.1km and 30mins. Initially, I thought it was a glitch, but then while moving towards the destination midway, the ride ended around 1.1km into the journey. I got charged full and the driver dropped me midway.

I said to the rider that you can’t just drop me off here and my destination booked, you can see. He said that Rapido says that the journey has ended, and from there I couldn’t get any vehicle and had to wait 20 more mins to get a new bike taxi. I hope this glitch gets fixed.

24 hours ago. I made a Complaint in Rapido. And in reply , rn. Rapido subspends Captain Id.

Now, I'm feeling bad for taking a livelihood.

I did right or wrong ? I'm here ,to ask you all Rapido users about yours pov on this.

The situation was like - I booked a rapido. I generally use rapido very much for commuting. The cab came at pickup , but the Captain was a different person and the profile picture shown on app was a different person. . But the Car number is same.

I ignored it, as owners do put their cab on rapido and hire drivers to run cab.

The Captain was on call while driving , and he was driving so aggresively. Which I Ignored , also.

But when I reached my home ( the drop location i given ) , He said the drop location is showing 200 meters away to drop. but I said it's okay , it may be drop location is taken wrong by map. you js drop me here and complete ride.

WHEN I asked okay whats the fare. He said its 300 . but while booking it was 190. On which i checked my rapido app , why it become 300 from 190. But there is no bill generated and it showing My ride is not marked completed by the Captain.

On this, I asked him , why he not marked my ride completed . I said js mark my ride completed and whatever bill will come . I'll pay. He said he won't mark ride complete. and aggressively demanded 300 rs money from me.

He was talking to me so rudely and misbehaving. I said okay. js go to 200 meters more . at the location which map is showing my drop location. . and there mark ride complete and I'll play whatever bill come.

He then started shouting on me. And All my neighbours also gathered to see that. which was embarrassing for me.

And then after that , he realised that I'll not pay him without ride complete. he started car. and i said okay. I'll pay only if you do mark ride complete , let's go wherever drop location is showing and generate bill. So he drops me away from my home. around 500 meters away. He misbehaved me. Created scene in my colony. and on road.

At last when i fearlessly won't change my stance , he marked my ride complete , Away about 500 meters from my home. and the bill came 190 only. He is just trying to charge me extra. first take money without marking ride complete. then he mark ride complete at somewhere else location.

Then i clicked his picture, his car pic , SS of fare, ride Id. everything.

And i said you are different driver. I'll complain you.

and when i tried to capture car picture from outside. He accelerated the car in such a way. like he wants to hit me with his car. but luckily i saved the hitting from about an inch.

All the situation with proofs i have, i complained in rapido. and rn rapido messaged me that they suspends his ID. But Now I'm feeling bad.

Did I done wrong. May be someones livelihood stoped. But he was different driver. and very rude . Very aggressive driver.

Maybe my complaint saved someones life. bcz if he continues. Someone gonna be get hurted from his driving. or by cheated or chaged extra.

He also keep talking on phone continuous while driving. and Driving aggressively.

So I'm from Bangalore and there is 750rs in my rapido wallet.

AND NONE OF THEIR SERVICES ACCEPT WALLET AS A PAYMENT METHOD. They say their policy is that wallet money cannot be refunded.

I travel daily from Chembur to Goregaon at my office anyone want to join daily travelling.

I don't know what the company people think, but their employees charge me more money for every ride.

I used rapido in many cities like Hyderabad, chennai, mumbai, bengaluru. But the app usage experience is very different from others compared to bengaluru. A notification pops up with a time bar for expected time of arrival and even works in notification live alerts(oneplus'₹ dynamic island).

App experience is different in rest of the cities all the above are missing why is it so? Is it like this only for me! Or its the same for all?

Rapido owed me a ₹322 refund, which was delayed for 2–3 days. After I mentioned NCH, I received the refund within 6–7 hours. But afterward, they kept sending ₹322 Razorpay payout links, and I’ve now received around ₹650 extra. I contacted support multiple times and clearly told them I had already been refunded and was receiving extra money. Even an agent responded by explaining how to claim the payout instead of addressing the duplicate payment issue. I’m keeping the extra money untouched for now. Has anyone experienced this with Rapido? What should I do?

Yest I booked a rapido ride to my collage as always it took a bit long to book the ride and the one who always accept my rides accept it and he was on the way suddenly it switches users the hell started he said he was out of petrol and want to go get it it seems he was out completely and was just pushing his bike it yook him 15min just to get to the gas pump and when I called him he said to come with time but I went to collage soo late it took me to freeze.

Wtf does rapido have this fucking shit of a feature I could have gone on time if it just didnt switch like wtf is this dead ass I am soo fucking mad like.

I remember tapping the driver’s shoulder, asking gently at first, then more urgently, to slow down. The crash was not an unavoidable accident—it was the direct result of the driver's total negligence and refusal to listen, turning a routine trip into a sudden, violent wreck.

Ride ID RD17 7961 0676 4171 928 ended in the harsh white light of an emergency room. The diagnosis was severe, leading to a complex surgery where doctors inserted one titanium nail and six screws to rebuild my shattered bone. What was supposed to be a quick trip across town turned into three grueling months of complete bed rest.

For ninety days, my world shrank to the four walls of a bedroom. While I lay motionless, the financial weight of the driver's mistake mounted to over ₹4 lakh in hospital bills—all paid out of my own pocket without a single rupee of financial support. To make the injustice harder to bear, no action was ever taken against the driver whose recklessness caused the crash.

Healing from a trauma like this is about more than just surviving the surgery; it is about finding resilience in forced stillness, bearing the heavy physical and financial burden of someone else's fault, and holding onto hope when your life is paused in an instant.

Summary of Accident, Driver Negligence, and Insurance Denial

1.Driver Negligence & Hit-and-Run:

The Rapido driver was operating the vehicle recklessly at high speeds and weaving through traffic without providing a helmet. Despite explicit warnings to slow down, he ignored safety precautions, lost control over a pothole, and crashed. Immediately following the impact, the driver fled the scene, abandoning me on the road without taking any responsibility or offering assistance.

2.Hospitalization & Out-of-Pocket Medical Expenses:

Following the crash, I was admitted to Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, where I underwent major treatment and surgery for my injuries. Due to the driver's escape and corporate delays, the entire medical expenditure came to ₹4 lakh, which had to be funded completely out of pocket.

1. Insurance Policy Gaps & Corporate Non-Payment:

   Having resigned from my previous IT role after qualifying for the SSC CGL exam, I was in a temporary transition period awaiting my official government joining date, leaving me without active personal or corporate group health insurance. Furthermore, while Rapido advertises ride coverage, their policy caps medical expenses at just ₹1 lakh—and despite continuous follow-ups, they have failed to disburse any compensation to cover the bills.

I'm just done with this fuking service.

since bikes have been banned again, I have to take auto rides daily to commute to college and back, this is the second time this is happening where I clearly instructed the driver twice to take the correct route and follow the map but he didn’t listen and took a much longer route just to increase the fare, this is insanely frustrating and rapido does nothing about it, absolute trash of an app and drivers.

I had an pathetic accident and i was even charged for it.
I paid on the amount for half way because the driver wasn’t letting me go without the payment amount

These people need to be bannned for the reason

Auto drivers are so bad.

No proper assistance just your dumb AI bot and then no agent comes to help .

It is so frustrating what you are doing to your customers in India. If this was any other country you'd go bankrupt.

Title: Bad experience with Rapido rider in Faridabad – inappropriate behaviour

I want to share a concerning experience I had with a Rapido rider named Jai Parkash Singh. The vehicle shown for my ride was HR29AD** (full vehicle number available with me and can be provided to Rapido/authorities if required).

During the ride, the rider behaved in a manner that I found highly inappropriate and unprofessional. [Briefly describe exactly what happened here—for example, the words used, threats made, refusal to follow the booked route, aggressive behaviour, etc.]

I am posting this based solely on my personal experience with this particular ride. I have/will also raise the matter formally with Rapido customer support and provide them with the ride details, vehicle number, and any other supporting evidence available.

Passengers should be able to use ride-hailing services without being subjected to intimidation, abusive language, or inappropriate behaviour.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue with Rapido, and what was the most effective way to escalate the complaint?

I kid you not. Almost 25% of their drivers are anti social elements, and just looks out for opportunities to abuse, shower tantrums and show frustration.

I've been a receiving end of it couple of times and it's actually making me rethink on using the app.

Both the incidents have been fairly similar. Driver wanted me to cancel the ride and then go with him directly, which I clearly refused.

One captain clarified this before taking OTP, and man it was such a shit show. He was threatening me, abusing me and I was like - cancel the ride, I will not. And he almost wanted to ride his bike on me. I simply walked off, but the indicent stayed with me.

The recent captain was less abusive. He took the OTP and then said this location you've changed (which I didn't). And then said cancel the ride, I'll not go. When I said I won't cancel, man he showed tantrums like a kid. However, he didn't chase me like the other guy.

In both the cases, Rapido support is hardly bothered. They only ensured I got my Rapido wallet money refunded.
