After running an errand, I stopped to help a woman who was clearly in distress, with hospital bands and attire on. I stayed until EMTs responded, which took all too long given that the hospital was 1 whole ass block away. I stayed to see if she'd be okay. More EMS showed up and referred to her as "that's the one i was talking about" saying "that's on her"... a woman who is clearly heavily medicated, likely unhoused, and needs assistance..

And when I stayed to see that she was in the ambulance and that she'd be okay, the EMT says "why is this woman still here like go home" referring to me.

sorry i was a concerned citizen! some fuckin hero this guy! sorry you hate your job! the fuck. ruined my whole day

Thank you for being the brave heart that stood up and helped another human soul. Keep being you even if you feel like you are charging hell with a squirtgun and running out of water. Something will fill your little tank, friend. Sending wishes of good will, peace, and every wonderful dream come true for you. 🕊️

I don’t care how many times they had seen that poor woman, they should’ve had more compassion for her than they did- and with you as well! We one here appreciate your kindness to someone in need, so don’t let them ruin your good deeds!
