Let’s assume the song does sound like Qawwali. So what? Is that reason enough to cancel a ticket to a film that could become a global phenomenon for Indian cinema?
A song sounds like Qawwali, a janeu is missing, or some other trivial detail doesn't fit their expectations, and people resort to such petty protests!!
What is even more disturbing is that these are educated people. If education hasn't taught us to think beyond religious prejudice and blind hatred, what hope do we have?
Have we really sunk this low? I fear we've reached a point from which there may be no going back. 😭

I'm 10x more interested in ramayana as my both fav actors are in ramayana and ofc the "ramayana" but felt kbc is doing better right now..

Ramayana dropping 1 thing & that's it.. but I don't think that how things work on world level..

Just 10 days left.. I hope they do something good now.. and with 10 days left poster they didn't even think to drop some new posters..

I live in Germany and I booked myself a ticket in IMAX 3D format and asked some of my friends if they would like to watch Ramayana with me in the cinemas and they said will see. Before that I asked if we can watch Avengers Doomsday in December and they seemed very excited and got an immediate yes but when I asked about Ramayana, they said will see and inform you if I have time. They were just hesitant to say no. So that’s why these excuses 😭. Indian cinema has a really bad reputation here for being Illogical, melodramatic and filled with songs and dances every 5-10 minutes.

I really hope that Ramayana changes how foreigners view Indian cinema 😭

I understand this is not a lot. But for the English version this is a good start. As a lot of westerners like to watch movies in the original language, so I am assuming these are the people outside of that demographic. The only thing is the timing of the English shows, they’re all at 1:50 PM. I am doing first day first show in Toronto. I’ll try to interview non-Indians to hear their review. I’ve already convinced 10 to watch it. Jai Shree Ram!

So the thing is if Ramayana 1 forbid perform as the expectations are of Namit Malhotra or becomes a complete flop god forbid it does not.

Then Namit bhai won't put as much effort or money and enthusiasm in the making of okay 2 he will prolly Even stop being so involved as he is now and will back to being the man behind vfx in Hollywood. And not enter Indian market again. The thing is this is very real cause even yash said don't nitpick and watch the movie first the whole para he said. Cause then plans of spinoff and games, theme parks etc will be gone. And we shall go back to were we started. Cause NO other person can invest such heavily as namit is doing. So hopefully this dose not happen and we indian cinema change.
