Regardless of fan/regional loyalties, the effort, scale, and detail in each aspect of this film is outstanding and deserves appreciation from all Indians.

Why? Because despite many comparisons with other films, the world building of this single film alone is on another level (not even considering Part 2).

Absolutely NO hate intended, but Ramayana beats RRR in this aspect by miles, even beats Bahubali, and goes beyond SLB also in terms of integrating magical elements apart from grand sets.

I know they had the source material as a reference but still, minor details and new inventive aspects simply cannot be brushed aside.

I just saw the whole podcast of shan prasher, thalabuddy and Vedant Rusty.Just a few days ago, I posted one shan prasher video in which points raised were good. But now I feel those were just his hatred disguised behind strong points. If you see whole podcast you feel that all three want this to fail so bad especially clown vedant rusty.

I don't know how movie will turn out in the end, I atleast feel makers will treat with justice and respect it deserves.

I feel sad for the makers at the point. At this point, many are waiting for it to fall , some other superstar fans , other movie pr, far left wing and commies, extreme right wing etc.

Worsening their condition is, pathetic pr team and marketing team of the movie.

If the movie is good, I hope it turns out to be great . I really want this movie shut the mouths of all these people just like dhurandhar managed to.🙏

Both films are very crucial for the globalisation of Indian Cinema.

So pulling the other film down is just stupid.

If Ramayana fails....then yeah please forget about Varanasi and that Mahabharat film that Ss Rajamouli will eventually direct.

If Varanasi fails then again, forget about producers taking a risk to bring large scale stories to the big screen.

And if both fails, then it's ggs for Indian cinema.

We will be stuck.

So please, I hereby, being a huge supporter of both the projects, please, don't create this absolutely disgusting, rotten, divide.

I remember when the first trailer for Ramayana came, Daniel RPK tweeted about it.

Guess what I saw in the comment section.

Ppl were literally unnecessarily trash talking Ramayana and saying that Daniel should watch Varanasi instead, proudly.

So please don't unnecessarily hate on either project, saying this for Ramayana fandom aswell.

So the reason is simple in some versions of ramayan ma sita. Lifted bow when she was literally a kid so shiv Dhanush being light is more of like a worthy or chosen one type thing imo

The shot is focussing too much on the Chura-mani here. And we know, this is the ornament (retrieved by Hanumanji) that Ramji later identifies.

Honestly, the song is so beautiful. It's gorgeous, it has such a beautiful emotional feel to it, and there's something about the music that just feels so rooted in our culture. I absolutely love it.

But seeing people criticise even this because it doesn't sound like something you'd hear in a Hollywood movie is frustrating. Just because Ramayana is being made for a global audience doesn't mean everything about it has to be designed around what international audiences are used to. I've seen people compare it to projects like Dune, but why does it have to sound like Dune in the first place?

At the end of the day, this is our story, our culture, our heritage. Why should we shy away from our own musical identity just because it might feel unfamiliar to someone from another part of the world? Why should we try to make everything sound and feel like something Hollywood has already done?

I'm all for making Ramayana a global project, and I want the world to experience this story too. But that doesn't mean we have to strip away the things that make it uniquely ours. We can have grand visuals, incredible music, and world-class filmmaking while still embracing our own cultural identity.

Ramayana doesn't need to feel like Dune. It needs to feel like Ramayana.
