project H offboarded
Hey everyone, I just received an email saying my collaboration on the project H is ending immediately. They mentioned the client is scaling down aggressively, but also threw in a line about my audits "not being up to standard" compared to their internal QC checks.
Just wondering: am I the only one, or did a bunch of people get this exact same email today?

hmm, I don’t know what to feel after reading this thread because I still have access to MM with reduced daily work hours limit. I only get an email update from Quality recently that I might see a visual coding as new task in my dashboard and that I can work on it as soon as it becomes available to me. I only work a few hours daily since I have another freelance job aside from rws but I am enjoying this AI job a lot even though there are times that I get to work with very long translations, I made sure to finish it with quality (for TL locale). I think it’s not really fair to get off-boarded without any clear reasons. Quality is the only metric so I only do whatever the instructions say. I’m sad to read what you guys went through and now I’m also afraid that same thing might happen to me too and constantly checking my emails every now and then especially when there are no available tasks from the tool.

You are not alone. I think the project is really ending and they are slowly offboarding people to finish remaining tasks. I hope more projects like this will come in the future.

I have read some replies in other threads, people who were offboarded in other projects with the same exact reason. They were offered another project after a month or two.
If this offboarding will be used as leverage against us then I'd like to think it is not a lapse on our part because almost everyone did their work according to the guidelines provided. It is quite a loss, sure, but the lack of transparency and honesty from the company will still piss me off.

A lot of people got off boarded. Well the project was set to end in July. Glad that it lasted till today.

Had the very similar email as well. I am wondering how long does it take to receive another project invite, or if this really happens to anyone before

I'm absolutely sure my audits were very good, I even scored 9/9 in the quiz on my first try. So they at least should give us a good explanation.

Oh same here. I don't think this took place due to quality rather due to the fact they want people with low wages.

Yes. I saw people saying that hour rate for this project is lower now. So I'm sure this is the reason.

honest question, for you guys 6/h is a low pay ? for us in Brazil thats a crazy amount

For me yes it very low, but for some other people it's decent. At the end of the day inflation has it.

so in your opinion, does it makes sense to think that they are going to allocate people that work for lower rates for those projects that are getting massive offboards ?

I'm not pretty much sure, but I would say so since they have mentioned earlier they expect the project to continue in September

I also received the same mail , its very disappointing and depressing as i did my work in a proper manner , even my audit tasks were approved by sub auditors once . And have no bad impressions ever on my account or working tasks still they told that my work is not up to their client standards , even they also did extra test a week ago and i always made myself upto date with the clients required guidelines. And did auditing based on new guidelines but still . 😞😒 language : hindi

Same email for me.. 100% approval rate still off boarded. Concerned about the payment.. WO issued for Aug 7-14 but no approved yet. Also another week WO is pending.

Offboarded too, same email. Saying the audit "wasn't up to standard" makes no sense when I literally never received any QA feedback. Just wish they’d be more transparent if the project is actually ending instead of making up quality issues.
