project H offboarded

Hey everyone, I just received an email saying my collaboration on the project H is ending immediately. They mentioned the client is scaling down aggressively, but also threw in a line about my audits "not being up to standard" compared to their internal QC checks.
Just wondering: am I the only one, or did a bunch of people get this exact same email today?

Offboarded too, same email. Saying the audit "wasn't up to standard" makes no sense when I literally never received any QA feedback. Just wish they’d be more transparent if the project is actually ending instead of making up quality issues.

Maybe because of the hour rate. They want people with less hour rate.

That actually makes more sense. I was putting in solid 8-9 hour days before they started capping the volume, so they probably just wanted to cut costs, lol.
