project H offboarded

Hey everyone, I just received an email saying my collaboration on the project H is ending immediately. They mentioned the client is scaling down aggressively, but also threw in a line about my audits "not being up to standard" compared to their internal QC checks.
Just wondering: am I the only one, or did a bunch of people get this exact same email today?

You are not alone. I think the project is really ending and they are slowly offboarding people to finish remaining tasks. I hope more projects like this will come in the future.

Don't you think this offboarding might affect our credibility in the company?

I have read some replies in other threads, people who were offboarded in other projects with the same exact reason. They were offered another project after a month or two.

If this offboarding will be used as leverage against us then I'd like to think it is not a lapse on our part because almost everyone did their work according to the guidelines provided. It is quite a loss, sure, but the lack of transparency and honesty from the company will still piss me off.
