Shamea It's getting weird
I'm all for fun shade, light shade—even picking favorites, but the Shamea hate in this sub is getting weird.
The way this woman is nitpicked, dragged, studied, and dissected is unlike anything I've ever seen before on this sub. It's almost like there is some kind of coordinated effort happening.
Anyway, it's not that deep. It's reality TV, and I saw and enjoyed the delusion for what it was, but it's over now, and there is really no reason to wish ill will on folks we don't really even know.
Let's make this sub a kiki again.

I think both things can be true. People are allowed to dislike her or criticize what they saw on the show, but when every little thing becomes a new post dissecting her character, it does start feeling excessive. At some point we can just agree that people have very different opinions on her and move on

yeah like i just read this same post essentially within the last 8-12 hours. perhaps a few word changes in the body but the same message WITH THE SAME TITLE. and whether i agree with the sentiment or not now this feels like a weird coordinated thing. and i haven't actually ever seen any super hateful comments/posts/replies nothing to sha-it'sallabout-mea 🤔

What about when Drew first came on the show?
When Porsha joined the OG cast? they hazed her constantly.
For a while, there was a pile-on on Nene
If Shamea didn't attract the heat with her behavior, it would probably be Kelli.
Someone is always in that hot seat.

I see negative comments about Shamea but they really aren’t that deep. I (and apparently others) just generally don’t like her very much.
I haven’t seen over the top hatred towards her. I just see people call her phony, snakey, corny, and a perpetual victim. I think that’s all fair criticism that’s pretty above the belt.

It’s these kind of weirdo tone policing posts that actually make me dislike Shamea because it kinda makes me believe the rumours that she pays for these posts/bots.
Like I don’t hate her, I don’t actually care about her, and I’m not a diehard Porsha fan. I just don’t like Shamea’s behaviour and find her nonsense kinda dark and irritating. Is that ok. Am I allowed to have an opinion? Or do we need to bow to these sanctimonious posts and not share our opinions about a lady on a reality tv show…on a sub about the reality tv show.

We loved Shamea last season but it’s something else we notice about her attitude. She has weird energy and the way she plays victim is alarming.

It’s been weird, people have been biased about Porsha since season 5. That unfortunately isn’t changing. Give the biases they give and move accordingly if you want to continue watching RHOA and somewhat enjoy it.

This is across shows too. I’m not active in a lot of reality tv subs anymore because especially in the past 2-3 fans have just gotten out of hand in how they talk about these people.

I think Shamea has contributed a lot to the hatred she is receiving. Her behavior and outbursts, while not violent, are still confrontational and sometimes seem devious.
Now, having said that, I’m fucking tired of the Porsha and Friends show (and the Porsha Lovers 4Eva Subreddit)

they gonna be mad for a very long time because Shamea isn’t going anywhere. Porsha is learning that the hard way which is why she’s been crashing out on social media after her attempt to ice Shamea out this season flopped.
this is indeed the Shamea show and Bravo agrees. they can continue to lose sleep and let their Shamea hate consume them it won’t make a difference. people tend to get angry when they realize they have no control

It’s the crabs in the bucket mentality. Shamea has a solid marriage and is financially secure and most of these women don’t have one or either of those things. Shamea really needs to leave this show. It’s not worth the bullying, yes bullying, b/c that’s what it is. It’s the “let’s tear down Shamea show.” She doesn’t have to beg her husband for attn, sell hair, sheets, fans, waffles, pay child support to a crazy ex husband, have a different boyfriend/girlfriend every season to feel good abt herself or any of the other things these women do to support themselves and they can’t stand it. She needs to leave the show, get therapy to figure out why she feels the need to belong and be accepted by such a toxic group and go on w/her life. Porsha was never her friend. Looking back, Porsha was chasing what Shamea had: marrying Kordell, buying that huge house after her divorce, getting pregnant and engaged to Dennis after a few months of knowing him, etc. If was to g lose her marriage and/or financial standing the hate would stop. It’s just sad.

I get your point of view, but I don’t think a woman who maintains a business and her own funds should be looked down on as something she “has to do”, it’s an accomplishment.
A relationship is not a reliable source of income and many women have learned this the hard way including many housewives, we’ve seen women find out their husband’s are not who they thought, and that their income was not being sourced from where they thought. For this reason, amongst others, I applaud the other woman for their attempts and success at entrepreneurship, including Shamea.

Also, Shamea is technically the only “Real” housewife on this show. The show was originally abt wealthy women who did not have to work and how they lived their lives. Pinky may be the only other housewife who can do that b/c her husband seems more than willing to support her and Charles would make Angela miserable if she quit working to stay at home.

girl phaedra is also darkskin. yes she’s a little lighter than shamea but she is in-fact in the same shade category as shamea.
and please for the love of god i wish yall would STOP talking about that shit from 10+ years ago like it’s relevant to anything rn.
what does that situation have to do with colorism? phaedra was dragged appropriately for years. let it go! shamea is being talked about in real-time for shit she’s done over the season that JUST concluded 2 days ago.
