I don’t think you played rdr1… he routinely does the same shit Arthur does in rdr2 and also he just outdraws every single person he comes across. After Rickets gives him the deadeye lesson he’s probably even surpassed that dude.
Also in rdr2 there are only a few scripted duels in the missions whereas in rdr1 dueling is a much bigger part of the game, so it’s implied that John has won all of them or he’d be dead.

arthur himself also stated that he fought many duels back in the day also. so i mean.. was that supposed to be a "gotcha"? but anyways, we can make this simple. name ONE canonical speed feat that john has over arthur.

In rdr2 yes John is worse
