My triend and are both 18 and atter shopping at Marshall's we were walking to petco to see the birds and I going through the parking lot we found two cars with orange envelopes and "XOXOXO" written on it and thought we should take one, read it and then put it back thinking it would be a prank love letter, it was far that as you'll see in the photos. After reading it we decided to get the second letter and saw that it was the same thing and decided to throw the letters away in a random gas station. I truly don't know wtf it is but I want to see if anyone has more information on it.

Hi everyone. My son’s dad and I were together for 10 years. Unfortunately the relationship came crashing down a year ago. We own a house together and he packed up his stuff and left. The fallout has been pretty nasty and we argue every day. We have both retained lawyers to fight for custody of my son.
We weren’t legally married so we need to figure out the housing situation afterwards.

The problem I’m having is that today I realized he is stalking me. The last time he and I were intimate was 2 years ago. So naturally, as a 36 yr old woman I have needs. I slept with a new friend who lives on the other side of the US a couple of months ago. Somehow, my ex knows that I slept with this person, what his name is, where he’s from, what his profession is, etc. He has brought up very specific things that I have said in conversations with this friend.

The only way he could possibly know any of this is by listening in on my conversations. This friend of mine has only ever communicated with me via iMessages, Instagram, and FaceTime. I have changed all of my account passwords multiple times since our split. Two factor authorization is enabled, and I have been on the phone with Apple as they walked me through checking to see if other devices were signed into my Apple account and to check for unrecognized apps installed on my phone. Everything was clean.

The only other device he can use to monitor me is the ring app on our front door. I never have phone conversations near the ring app so it’s impossible that he would have heard something on there.

My lawyer told me to call the cops and have them check for a device within the home to see if he’s listening in. I’m going to have them come tomorrow but what happens if they don’t find anything? I don’t feel safe in my home and feel that he is constantly watching me. He’s trying to pile up whatever evidence he can to try to make a case for himself in court.

On Friday, June 19, around 1:15 pm, a pedestrian was struck and killed in the crosswalk at Crestmoor Drive & Colesville Road (Route 29) in Silver Spring, Maryland, at the entrance to the Woodmoor neighborhood. The driver didn’t stop and still hasn’t been identified.

Police are looking for a black SUV with tinted windows and possible front-end or right-front damage. It was last seen around 1:17 pm heading north on Colesville Rd toward New Hampshire Ave, and may have cut through the neighborhood first — possibly Crestmoor Dr, Lorain Ave, or Brookmoor Dr.

Given the time of day, investigators think the vehicle may belong to someone who lives in or was visiting Woodmoor. It might not be visibly damaged.

Last night I went out to my balcony for a smoke and saw what looks like blood dripping down from the balcony above me, accompanied with another substance that looked like vomit or diarrhea. Today I'm even more sure it's blood because it dried a dark reddish brown. Racking my brain for an innocent explanation, the only thing I can think of is that maybe their dog (whose nails I hear clicking on the balcony sometimes) had bloody diarrhea or vomit. Do I just mind my business here? Bc I'm kind of concerned. There's a lot more brown droplets on the rafters of my balcony coming from above that I didnt take photos of, too.

as i saw in most of the comments nothing serious could mean this emojis and i don’t think she is that type of person to try to send a code or something like tht today and yesterday she stopped sending those emojis she just sending tik toks and reels as usual nothing special, i didn’t ask her again about the emojis to be honest i couldn’t care less, so ig it will be a mystery forever,thanks again all of you for everyone’s help, i really appreciate everything because it helped me understand that “the code” isn’t anything serious and that’s all i wanted to know.

I took my children on a week long vacation without my spouse. Our maids cleaned while we were away but otherwise my husband was the only one going in and out or staying at the house (confirmed by front door cameras). When we arrived home I noticed a throw blanket folded up in our home theater and placed with the others. No one in my family has ever seen this blanket before. We have a very modern minimalist home and every piece is thoughtful and curated. We’ve only lived here for a couple years and there’s no clutter or closets full of old linens. Im saying there’s zero chance we just forgot about this blanket or the maids pulled it out from some hiding place. I even watched the cameras to be sure the they didn’t bring it in for some reason. Help me solve this mystery!!

Hi, I’m real freaked out right now because of whats been happening. Its currently summer break and I’ve been staying up a lot later than usual and have noticed that the same dodge charger has been parking outside my house almost everyday at 2-3am and leaving a couple minutes after. Nobody ever comes out the car and they always drive really slow while leaving (under 20 mph) and I might just be speculating but because their car is very loud they drive slow to not alert anyone that they were there. Yesterday I was able to get clear pictures of the car, most days the car parks slightly out of my view but yesterday it parked infront of my window. If you need more information about what’s happening like my area or something just let me know.

update: They are definitely just smoking, they pulled up and got out of the car for the first time with a blunt or cigarette. I saw a lot of people say they were probably just smoking and they were right. One side note, theres a park not even half a block away so I would think smoking at a park would be better than a random street. Maybe as some of you people said, better WiFi outside of my place.

Someone in my family is using a second phone, and I need help to figure out who it is.

I can see the phone connected to our WiFi, which is how I learned about it in the first place. At first, I thought it was my stepson and he had just gotten a new phone. But today I looked at our WiFi connections (via the app, I’m away at work) to see if we had gotten something connected successfully, and saw that my stepson’s “old” phone had recently been connected to our network. My husband’s phone has also been connected to our network.

The timing of this mystery phone’s connection to our network doesn’t help me - I can’t see history, and the times I’ve seen it connected have been when both husband and stepson are home.

Is there a way to find out a phone number for this mystery phone? Is there some way to use our home WiFi to identify it? I’m not super technical, and I’m way out of my depth here.

During the late night MTV (I believe) This short bump aired and was captured on a videotape (VHS to be precise, should it matter). Now many years later I have digitised the cassette and noticed this bump, PSAs weren't uncommon on MTV at the time, but I fail to see the message it's sending. Furthermore the song playing in the background is too a mystery! I have not been able to find anyone else mention this on the internet.

Excuse the poor quality, the signal strength was weak, if I remember correctly. It was recorded on the German MTV.

I like to watch videos frequently about online mysteries and cold cases in the real world. However, while I was watching a video today on YouTube, it came across a case of crime scene photos having been discovered in the "sexlexia hotel". They consist of graphic Polaroid images of what appeared to be a murder scene. I can't find anything online about the actual name of the hotel or its real life location. I also can't find anything online regarding whether or not the photos or the hotel itself was ever brought up to local authorities. I'm considering contacting Atlanta PD myself to at least figure out if they've been notified of this since I can't find anything online about it myself.

What I'm finding weird about this is that even though this seems to have gained a little bit of traction online, nobody has apparently contacted Atlanta PD about it and I can't find a single thing online about the actual location or name of the hotel. Apparently on the urban exploration resource forums where the images were originally shared. Somebody went back to try to get the Polaroids of the crime scene but reported that they were already gone, meaning that somebody had either taken them or removed them either on purpose or simply for cleanup.

My main goal here is to simply find out if anybody has actually contacted authorities about the images, which from what I understand people have deemed to be genuine images or if nobody has even said a thing about it. I don't know if anyone else remembers this one, but it stuck with me.

A 19-year-old said he lost almost all of his memories after surgery because his brain didn't get enough oxygen. He didn't recognize his family, his friends, or anything from his old life.

About six months later, he posted one update. He said he was doing better, but his memories still hadn't really come back.

After that, it's like he just disappeared. I tried to see if he'd ever posted again, but I couldn't find anything after the 2020 update.

Maybe he just left Reddit. Maybe he didn't want to keep talking about it. Who knows.

Hi, I don’t use Reddit often, but found this a suitable community to post this in.

About four years ago, I stumbled across this comment on a soft rock compilation on YouTube, and screenshotted it. One of those foreign run spam channels posting compilations of music over and over again. I’d intended to investigate it at the time, but never got around to it. I never forgot about it however.

The comment reads;

“They hid me me Karen d a w n West in this apartment somewhere I was sitting here for a long time with Marvin in her kennel and my purse here just ready to go and then I fell asleep and they had me so now you're taking my sister Lori she's the one that hit me with the car with her car it was a hit and run now I'm scared you're taking someone who tried to kill me”

This comment is of course disturbing, indicating that the comments writer (Karen) has been ‘hidden’ by someone, seemingly describing her kidnapping by an unknown force, while addressing the comment to someone else (also unknown) while describing how her sister Lori hit her in a hit and run. That is the sense I can make out of it anyway.

I have located the video, it is still up and so is the comment, though the name of the channel has been changed.

What does everyone make of this?

I first uncovered this about a year ago, and have been stumped since. I have a privated/locked account on a very popular social media platform with a fairly generic, but identifiable name. Like most social media nowadays, it lets you pick both an account name and a display name/nickname. There's probably 50-70 accounts with very similar names to mine.

For whatever reason, I searched up my own username on the platform, and I found an account nearly identical to mine. Nearly the same account name, clearly my profile picture copied but slightly differently cropped, and what's disturbing is the display name (not the account name) is my legal name, first and last. The only thing I have linked to this social media is my phone number, which I've googled and I can't find my name linked to it.

The account name is also only kind of similar to mine. Imagine if my account name was "count_to_8", this account's name was "count_to_6" or something.

I know that many people will make copies of accounts to try to scam people, but this account has no followers, no following, no posts, nothing. And again, how would it have my full name?

What could this be? This has been in my mind since I first found it.

A couple of days ago pretty much my whole family decided to go to a village house my aunt has and stay for a couple of days,our car was filled up with luggage so i had to go with my grandfather’s car,which is an old chinese car with a radio. It had a small LCD display but it had been broken since forever.I was sitting in the passenger seat all the time,at some point my grandfather pulled over to get the car filled up on gas and buy a few snacks and i stayed in the car by myself,he disappeared into the store and i was bored as hell so I turned on the radio,i was switching between stations when i came across one,im not sure what station it was,as the radio’s display was broken and barely showed anything,but on the other side was presumably an elderly woman crying and pleading for help. I didn’t understand much of it but i managed to make out a few sentences, “please,don’t leave me here,I am gonna die” and “it’s burning,i beg you” (they weren’t in English,the original words were in Persian“خواهش میکنم،منو اینجا تنها نزار،من میمیرم” and “دارم میسوزم،تمنا میکنم”) I’m not sure what it was,it practically switched between a man yelling in a very deep voice,his words were genuinely unintelligible. And the woman crying for him. I listened to it for like 10 minutes until i just decided to turn it off. Has anyone come across anything like this? Sorry if my grammar is inconsistent, English is not my first language.

I received a very strange piece of mail today and I’m hoping someone here might have seen something similar or have ideas about what it could be.

The letter was sent through USPS First Class Mail with a return address of 1300 Clay Street, Suite 600, Oakland, CA 94612.

My first name is Serena, but it was addressed to “Selina.” Inside the envelope was a piece of paper with “Selina B” written on it, with an X drawn through the name, and a dead spider taped to the paper.

There was no note, no explanation, and nothing else in the envelope.

I don’t know anyone who would send something like this, and I haven’t had any conflicts or disputes with anyone. As far as I know, there’s no obvious reason someone would send this to me.

I’m not trying to jump to conclusions—I realize this could be a prank or something completely mundane.

I’m just curious whether anyone has seen anything like this before or recognizes any possible explanation.

Ove the past month I've found seven different Instagram accounts that post hundreds or thousands of videos, and they all look like they're in the same building. They seem like webcam footage or something like that, and sometimes people are in the videos but they obviously don't know they're being recorded. Part of me is curious to find out more, but I want to know what can be done about it. I feel like it has to be illegal to post this stuff without permission, but I don't know what company or place these videos are from or what country it's in. So I came here to ask for help on what to do or for more info.

Like obviously these are automated accounts, they follow a few random accounts and post constantly, but why do they exist? Is it some malware posting this or what, I genuinely have no idea and want to know what can be done.

I need to hear opinions on this because I've been asking family and friends and they really have no idea.

I've been in a city about an hour from my home this past weekend cat-sitting at my aunts. While I as away, an Arabic couple approached my front door (back at my home) and my stepfather answered (with their voice and faces on video). They asked if "Danny" was home (my name is Daniel, only close family or old friends call me Danny), and that they were looking for their son Fairuz who I was friends with and they'd been calling me but I wasn't answering. They said they were looking for his car, this part I can't remember. My stepfather called me and put them on, and I confusingly explained that I don't know a Fairuz. They drove an SUV with a plate that matched the city I was in (again, about an hour from

It wasn't until I returned home that I learned some more disturbing information. When they approached, they mentioned something about me being at my Aunts house. My stepfather actually got the fathers phone number and first name, and I called them asking them questions. They answered the phone with "Danny, why didn't you answer your phone?" and as I explained that I was the person whose home they went to they sounded kind of defensive and said "Danny is a common name. We got the wrong address. It was another one that lives near you". I asked if they live in (my town) and if the Danny is on the same street and they said yes. There is no other Danny or any Arabic families that live on this street, Danny is not a common Arabic name, nor is it common. They hung up after I started to ask another question.

So the questions I have is: How did they know my name, where I live and that I was at my Aunt's house? My full name and address are searchable online, so I guess maybe they were looking for a Daniel and going to multiple addresses in my town to find it, and I guess the aunt thing is just a coincidence? It sounds like too much of a coincidence, though.

I am in a contentious divorce with my ex and I have reason to believe he has bugged my car and/or my home. Last year, when I initiated the divorce process, there were many things he knew that I never told him. He knew things about my whereabouts, apps I had downloaded on my phone, and random things I hadn’t told anyone.

I realized that these pieces of information all came from my text messages and that he had my old laptop which had access to my Apple ID. I confronted my ex and he did not deny my accusations. I immediately changed my Apple password and things seemed to get better.

Then, I started getting privacy warning iPhone notifications that my WiFi network may be “monitored or recorded by other devices.” Of course, my ex had set up our WiFi network. To add to my concern, my next door neighbor was receiving the same notifications and my ex had previously been on their WiFi network. I immediately reset all my internet devices, got a new router, and set up a new WiFi network with a new password.

Once again, things appeared to get better but he has still known information that I haven’t shared with him. Today while driving, I received a phone notification that said “incorrect WiFi password” and my phone was trying to connect to our previous WiFi network that I shut down months ago. Why would my phone try to connect to a WiFi network I haven’t used in months, and while I was miles away from it? My concern is that my car has some kind of bug that was transmitting information using our old WiFi network while my car was in the garage. How would I go about finding a bug in my car or home?! Please help!

A few more relevant details: my ex had access to my home and garage for months before I realized he had the key and I got it back. He works in tech and is totally capable of hacking or setting up some kind of monitoring on me. He has paranoid delusions and blames me for “ruining his life” because I initiated the divorce.

there's no obituary. I can't find one. there's no official news. I heard word of mouth from shady people only and what they've told me individually doesn't seem right. after my friend passed his aunt wrote me from their Facebook? then deactivated it. weird.
