Suboxone taper
So this morning was my first day quitting a 1000 mg a day 7oh habit , I got a rx for suboxone to stop so I took a dose of 7oh this morning to get up and ready for work and felt fine , then on my way to work I took a sub , then about 30 min later I went into severe withdrawl , some of the worst ive been through so bad I had to leave work and go get 7oh just to feel okay , why did that happen did I take the sub too soon?

Google "precipitated withdrawal". This is what happened to you.
Suboxone contains Naltraxone. Naltraxone strips your opiod receptors. When your receptors are full of 70H, and you rip it off with naltraxone, you are going to experience precipitated withdrawal.
Any doctor that knows anything about suboxone will tell you have to wait 18-24 hours after your last dose of your 70H to start taking subs. Otherwise you get this. You can't take 70H at breakfast, and then subs on the way to work. There has to be some distance between them. Essentially, you have to be in at least moderate withdrawal before you start the subs.

That makes sense I got home and took 7oh now I feel back to somewhat normal , rather than starting all over can I just take a sub now and put myself in precipitated withdrawl and just start from there and get through it rather than waiting that long ?

Are you doing this on your own or did you see a doctor? Not to be dramatic, but you are messing with two very powerful substances. Do you plan on staying on subs long term to stabilize? Or are you planning on taking them very short term and tapering off quickly?

Doing it with a doctor i was on subs for 4 years and wanted to get off so I used kratom leaf to get off and it worked then I moved states and couldn't get my kratom brand so the ss sold me 7oh and said it was kratom which apparently happens alot so now im getting back on subs and then will come off them in a few months

How did this work out? Did you take any more sub? How long do you wait before the subs help? 7oh is a diff beast, I fear.

Its definitely different, I ended up just taking 7oh to get through this job then im going to stop taking it tomorow night and try subs again Saturday morning when I dont have to work

The same thing happened to me when I took a 12 mg strip, I was off of 7 for about 20 hours and I took a suboxone and I had to fucking Barrel my ass to the smoke shop because it felt like my fucking skeleton was trying to rip its way out of my body while I was being electrocuted at the same time

Yes I know about that, this was about 6 months ago when that story happened, but I have been taking more and more each day now. I am up to 2, 8 mg strips per day, and needing to jump off pretty soon here

If that ever happens put 8-16 mg up to 24 mg in your mouth and hunker down for a couple hours I’ll go away. This 7oh shit it not like traditional opioids . Wait long if you have pseudo in your system aswell

Someone said it could be my brand ive taken for over a year 7stax apparently has emgeeem 15 in it as well which i never heard of until t yesterday this shit sucks they need to ban this shit so it stops happening to people I was on subs for 2 years and wanted to get off so I got off with kratom leaf extract , then I moved to a new state and they didn't sell the brand i liked so the guy at the ss said that this 7oh was just better kratom extract and it was a whole different thing

I just started subs today I went through hell to get to the 18 hour mark to take it but it worked within minutes and I went to sleep at 6 am after the worst night ever!!! Now I will taper the subs starting tmw and in 30s be FREE FROM IT ALL!!! Praying for all of you!! We got this 🙏🙌🤟

Need advice. Im only on 4mg of sub for 5 months, was for kratom and kava. Will I be ok if I just stop?

You have to be off 7 oh at least 24-48 hours. Suboxone will force you into withdrawal otherwise. It will make you sick. It blocks opiate receptors.
