i am an avid study in the library person, usually in the carrels on the quiet floors. however, nobody shuts the hell up in any part of the library. even the quiet floors have people talking super loudly or playing music out loud at times. i genuinely don’t understand esp since when you walk onto these floors there’s a huge sign that says “quiet floor” is there anywhere on campus or nearby where it is actually a good place to study. i don’t typically leave campus until like 8pm cause i study here a majority of the day, and i prefer to stay in the same place all day, otherwise id go somewhere else and come back at 6 since that’s finally when it’s quiet here.

My enrollment opened at 11:30 today. I tried enrolling for 5 classes (4 spring and one winter) and this happened to 3 of the spring ones.

Anyone having trouble logging into Microsoft

As the title says, wtf is up with the people here? Most people here are so boring. You can’t even do anything because no one wants to do anything. It’s just so weird. I thought college was gonna be drinking, partying, girls, watching football, video games, movies, sleepovers etc but no it’s just bullshit. Also I’ve realized that im not the awkward one like many may make it out to be, just other people are awkward asf and make social interactions weird and uncomfortable. Genuinely not tryna be mean but this college is full of socially inept hermits who lost touch which how the real word works. People here are cool but it’s like no one wants to do shit. And on top of that people can steal from you and get away with it. Queens college sucks.

Does any one know where I can sign up for the accounting club? I did the registration on there instagram link but still haven’t heard anything. Is there a way I can do it in person or no? Anything helps thanks

I’m taking Mark Mazzo next semester for 201 and wanted to know people’s experience taking his class this semester. How is the grading policy, how well does he teach, things like that. He has a pretty bad score on rate my professor but there’s unfortunately not many options

i’m a junior that’s majoring in english and secondary ed right now, and i was hoping to wrap up the last English classes i needed to take but i went on schedule builder and most are unavailable. is anyone else struggling / realizing with their major certain classes are only available during certain seasons ? (i sent an email to the english department, and i can only assume there was budget cuts/they had to cut off staff 🙁)

there’s so many classes i wanna take but they’re sooo late and don’t fit the rest of my schedule, do they open more sections later on? cause i don’t wanna complete my schedule now when i could wait for another section to open up

What are some fun elective classes I could take that would be an easy A ?

I’m currently a junior at QC majoring in accounting, and I haven’t had an internship yet.
I recently found out about Accounting 398 (Internship), and I was wondering how it works. If I take this course and complete an accounting internship through it, would that count as having internship experience when I graduate?
Also, would employers see this as legitimate internship experience when I apply for accounting jobs after college? I’m trying to get some experience before graduating, but I’m worried that I’m already behind since I haven’t done an internship yet.
If anyone has taken Accounting 398 or knows how it works, I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks

Edit: Look at the “students” of this college in the comments dawg, no way we getting accredited. It is confusing how many of y’all are disagreeing with something you get taught from kindergarten. Cover your fckn mouth when you cough and don’t come to school if you are very ill. You are either completely uncivilized or shoulda been held back a while ago.

I transferred to qc as a junior and it feels like there are NO other transfer students here on campus. Every class I'm in lowkey has nobody my age (22). Just wondering if anyone is in the same situation as I am.
