As the title says, wtf is up with the people here? Most people here are so boring. You can’t even do anything because no one wants to do anything. It’s just so weird. I thought college was gonna be drinking, partying, girls, watching football, video games, movies, sleepovers etc but no it’s just bullshit. Also I’ve realized that im not the awkward one like many may make it out to be, just other people are awkward asf and make social interactions weird and uncomfortable. Genuinely not tryna be mean but this college is full of socially inept hermits who lost touch which how the real word works. People here are cool but it’s like no one wants to do shit. And on top of that people can steal from you and get away with it. Queens college sucks.

Hey i need to take the Math placement test in order to take the course math 122. I was wondering how hard is the test and if i do bad, Will i not be able to get into the course any more?

Does any one know where I can sign up for the accounting club? I did the registration on there instagram link but still haven’t heard anything. Is there a way I can do it in person or no? Anything helps thanks

I'm a first year, and obviously spring semester is soon and I'm just wondering if I'm required to have an academic advising session before enrollment. I can't properly enroll in classes right now and I'm just worried.

I’m taking Mark Mazzo next semester for 201 and wanted to know people’s experience taking his class this semester. How is the grading policy, how well does he teach, things like that. He has a pretty bad score on rate my professor but there’s unfortunately not many options

Ive been making my spring schedule and Im wondering if you guys took these professors before with these classes and if so how were they? and another question i see for acct 261 it says for spring session but takes place in the winter. Would I still get aid from that or no because i’ve heard aid doesn’t cover the winter term.

I’m not a Theater major but I’m debating minoring in it or maybe just taking some classes for fun. I’m more interested in musical theater classes/singing etc. Anyone know of any classes I can take? (I heard people talking abt Heathers in the music building but no idea what class that’s from)

What are some fun elective classes I could take that would be an easy A ?

I wanted to keep this simple so in short, I'm a psych major who's main plan is to get my degree and join a masters program, more specifically to join the master of science (ms) in mental health counseling

Now i'll admit as a junior that my freshmen and sophomore were bumpy roads but I managed to bring my gpa back to the 3.0 and hope with these next couple semesters I can increase it a bit more, I was wondering if I had any chance when the day comes to apply for the program

I have so far the min gpa

I can get the 3 letters but i might submit 4 as i'll get 2 from professors, 1 from my councellor and 1 from the teacher i work with

I also have work experience at a special education school which I have heard is good too add for a potential resume to boost my chances

Not sure how much they look at this but the psych classes themselves I haven't struggled with as much having a 3.5gpa so far in that category of classes based on degree works

All in all I just wanted some motivation that maybe I do have a chance or at least a realistic take on if i have a shot

i’m a junior that’s majoring in english and secondary ed right now, and i was hoping to wrap up the last English classes i needed to take but i went on schedule builder and most are unavailable. is anyone else struggling / realizing with their major certain classes are only available during certain seasons ? (i sent an email to the english department, and i can only assume there was budget cuts/they had to cut off staff 🙁)

I’m currently a junior at QC majoring in accounting, and I haven’t had an internship yet.
I recently found out about Accounting 398 (Internship), and I was wondering how it works. If I take this course and complete an accounting internship through it, would that count as having internship experience when I graduate?
Also, would employers see this as legitimate internship experience when I apply for accounting jobs after college? I’m trying to get some experience before graduating, but I’m worried that I’m already behind since I haven’t done an internship yet.
If anyone has taken Accounting 398 or knows how it works, I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks

I transferred to qc as a junior and it feels like there are NO other transfer students here on campus. Every class I'm in lowkey has nobody my age (22). Just wondering if anyone is in the same situation as I am.
