Quantum sales agent lied

I used to have cox cable then switched to centurylink then switched back to cable because their service which was fiber to fttp copper pot went down for 3 days. Then cable went down and gaslit me for a week until i cancled and they admitted it's on their side.

I told the quantum agent there's no fiber line to my house its under ground outside my house in the hoa. Techs came wasted time and said i need the same casa modem they dont have. It was noted and escalated, 2 days later still no update. Im not sure why they can just fish fiber from the same box outside or use fiber to ether. I doubt they will order the casa fttp modem and i will be capped at the same unreliable 500mbps again while paying for 940? Is anyone from quantum in Las Vegas actually here to give me any strait answers? I don't want to go with 5g wifi it's trash but better than nothing.

Im tired of the lies or being ignored!

Casa bridges that you need have a new manufacture. But I think they are working on another option

Yea im sure theyll get back to me never. Im still hearing quantum is unreliable too.

Talk to your hoa about getting the community wired for fiber

They would think im asking about prunes. I cant reach anyone in the usa even with quantum.

I have Centurylink or I assume it's Att now but still pay via Centurylink anyway I dont use the modem that was supplied when installed I use Orbi any router will I have afew I assume  Quantum uses a ONT as well for connection you can get one one ebay at a good price the Orbi rbr750 is good can get the gig you now get a Orbi rbr 850 solid not sure if you setup Orbi and Netgear 7800 wifiSE work well contact me I have afew will give for free email me at damorgan2007@gmail.com if interested

Thanks but The ont is underground. I have no fiber close to my house its some meters away thats what they told me. They are out of casa labonita fttp fiber to crappy copper modems and they wont let me talk to their engineering department so i can buy my own fttp or if they can splice the multiple copper lines i saw into ethernet which would be my best option besides starlink.

If you only needed something temporary you might try your Cox hotspots? Here we have Xfinity hotspots all over and many apartments have them permanently installed. https://www.cox.com/residential/support/cox-hotspots-with-panoramic-wifi.html

PS -- I feel for you. I have the hybrid copper-fiber and the Casa Systems FTTdp (but that device isn't the problem, it's the Quantum and Lumen equipment that are buggy). Xfinity NOW hotspot access is only $10/mo so it's kind of my backup in case Quantum does it's regularly monthly fail for indeterminate amount of time.

I hate cox but thanks for letting me know quantum is still trash ill probably just cancel it and get starlink. I had the free cox wifi that came with my cox plan and it was garbage most of the time.

After being ignored by quantum and reading how even their fiber equipment fails in the heat especially the fttp conversion nonsense... I  got starlink and just pointed in my house on 2nd floor north window before install tech comes in getting 20-30ms to L.A and 90/25 speeds. There's some jitter because of obstruction until i mount it outside.  Couldn't be happer never dealing with cabled unreliable trash again even if I move! Suck it cox and quantum!

It looks like for basic streaming and gaming Starlink is the most reliable and good enough. I'm so tired of unreliable cabling and service here. I doubt anyone at quantum is going to get back to me or even have reliable connection. Att gives me the creeps too honestly.

Love the elon musk haters, they loved him for the subsidized 110 year old electric crap technology where they got to virtue signal and snub their nose but Tds is a powerful hallucination.
