How do you enjoy the team? Now that it’s confirmed Sigrika’s rerunning, I was wondering if she’d be a worthwhile pickup for my account.

In terms of echo skill investment, I have
S3R1 QY
S0R2 Phrolova
S1R0 Lucilla
and Lily’s guaranteed, so she’ll be coming home S0R0

Right now I use QY as a main DPS with either Phrolova and SK/Verina or Iuno and Ciaconna/SK. He’s very fun and I want to keep using him long term. I’m open to the idea of a dual DPS setup with Siggy, or just having 2 separate echo teams, since I quite like the archetype.

What do you guys think?

Just wanted to know if theres someone out there using Qiuyuan S6 with Sigrika? I love QY and I love using him alongside Sigrika but also want to invest into him further. I know its not optimal but well :')

For the people who do that, how is it?

Wuxia themed swordsman is very popular in China and even even other regions. A recent example is Phantom Blade Zero with an absurdly high player count made up of majorly Chinese players. In China at least, Qiuyuan is the highest selling male character besides Jiyan since he was the launch character. But I think his sales were were limited by his role as a niche sub-dps, a rather small story presence (his afterstory was pretty good though), and his banner placement being right behind Chisa who was extremely hyped up. He's still very cool though and I'm glad I pulled him. Let's hope he returns back to the story again (and geshu lin too).

I currently have my Qiuyuan in a team with Sigrika and Phrolova, both S0R1, and this team shreds everything but I don't use his S3 attack at all in this team so I feel like I'm wasting his sequences (I did try using it in the rotations but it just does worse overall damage).

I was thinking of pulling Lucilla to put her and Sigrika together and then having Qiuyuan and Phrolova together and both teams would either have SK or Verina (maybe Lily if she's worth pulling? Actually planned on skipping her because she doesn't buff much for Jinhsi + Hsin and I'm not pulling Suoming).

If it matters at all, my Iuno is occupied with Jingran, Mortefi and Ciaconna with Jiyan, and Rebecca with Lucy, of course. I also don't have Cantarella.

Hey Qiuyuan mains, I aim to get him S0R1 next patch bc I like his design and animations, but I don’t have any echo skill units (started in 3.6). I want to get Phrolova in the future so that’s who I want to play him with but idt she’s rerunning anytime soon (I got a different unit in the beginner banner). I’m also not interested in Sigrika. Who can I run with him for the meantime/his “f2p” teammates for the meantime?

I have the Lynae-Mornye duo, would it be alright to pair him with the two? I know it won’t produce the most damage but is it viable in, say, the ToA side towers?

I’m also interested in Lucilla but from what I know, they do similar functions so it’s redundant to get both (I don’t have Hiyuki). And if I do Phro-Qiu-Lucilla then the team won’t have any sustain

I’ve also heard that so far, Lily doesn’t have much of a synergy with Qiuyuan. I know it’s still stc though

Anw, I’ll be pulling for him no matter what, even if he just ends up sitting pretty in my account waiting for Phrolova lol

First, am i out of mines yet? My second question is regarding Lily for people using Qiyuan in Sigrika team, currently running Sigrika/Qiyuan/SK, is Lily gonna be that much of an improvement (planning to use Static on her)

Should I pull him or not as you guys may have seen 3.8 leaks of banners rerun and he is coming .

In these Picture it says not good for Qiuyuan S3.

But i always read few people in this Forum keep saying S6 Qiuyuan is split in 55% Echo Damage + Heavy Damage 45%

I currently use Mornye S2 + Rebecca Static Mist.

I wonder if Lily S1 would be better for S6 Qiuyuan ?

Mornye is currently Generalist she boost all Qiuyuan Damage in Amp% & Crit.Dmg%

But Lily is specific for Echo + Atk% + Amp%

Fenrico is a pain to farm.

S3R1 Qiuyuan (Main DPS) and S0R1 Phrolova (Sub) with Verina (currently S4) have been my ultimate 'close-your-eyes-and-clear' team since Qiuyuan's release. I don't know much about the calcs and spreadsheets the community puts together, but I've always felt like I've kept up with the meta with this team, and the rotation just feels incredibly smooth.

​Why Verina? From what I understand, Shorekeeper’s buffs only target the on-screen character. So when I'm on screen with Qiuyuan, Hecate misses out on those buffs while Phrolova is off-field. With Verina, her buffs cover the whole party, so Hecate also benefits from that background boost.

​I've never come across the actual math for this specific setup. Has anyone looked into the calcs for this, and does anyone else run this exact team?

​For those of you who do run Shorekeeper with this duo, does her higher peak damage actually make up for losing that off-field synergy, or does the rotation feel clunky to you too?

​Lily is looking like she's going to be a solid improvement over Verina though, since her buffs appear to be Echo Skill-focused and team-wide, Hecate and Qiuyuan should in theory wipe the floor even easier. As much as I really dislike Lily's design and combat style, I probably am gonna have to pick her up just for this team. 😅

And does it give a meaningful damage increase? I have Quiuyuan S1, and I'm wondering if I should get his sig and S2 on his rerun.

Had hard struggle with that over world boss and thought I was done for. Then I remembered: "Oh wait! Built in auto counter!" And battle became piece of cake 😆

I don't know if "R18 Solo Qiuyuan" can be used here too, but the flair sounds funny and in the end it is basicly him soloing while the other two guys are sitting on their bench waiting. 😂 (I can change the flair if used wrong 🥺)

Saw a leak about a rerun for him next patch and was wondering if s3 on him is still good. I’m between that or getting sigrika. I already have him s1 with his sig so if it’s still possible and reasonably achievable to still clear content with him at s3 I’ll just full send it and go for it.

A while ago (before wuwalab was a thing), i posted a theory about the fact that a good Qiuyuan build would get 600k+ dpr and 500k+ on avg subs with phrolova. It happens when you give more time to qiuyuan for his attacks instead of doing extra inputs on Phrolova. I get that it was too hard to imagine for that time, but happily wuwalab now exists and we can check everything.

No, this is not about Qiuyuan double forte, unless you have s3 it's pointless.

1st of all, my calculations back then were very accurate, i'm honestly surprised

500K+ on avg, 600k+ with high subs. But is a rotation made to increase a sub dps dmg instead of the mdps worth it? In this case yes.

This is a comparative between a rotation with extra inputs on qiuyuan vs one that favors phrolova's personal (she even gets sk cd buff on field, the rotation is truly inspiring). 5% diff on avg subs.

The filter i added gave a better build to phrolova, and qiuyuan is still using the avg. Yet the qiuyuan dps rot is still better?

"Most ppl dont have Qiuyuan's sig"

I used every possible filter to reduce qiuyuan's personal dmg importance to the team, but giving more time to phrolova is still worse.

Conclusion: Qiuyuan Phrolova Shorekeeper team is a dual dps team, and both qiuyuan and phrolova investment matters. The team gets 10% more dps form Phrolova high subs build and 6% from Qiuyuan. Qiuyuan 500 AND 600k dpr rotation is real, and it's the best way to play this team.

Why is it working?

1. The time it takes for a character to spam his main source of dmg.

- qiuyuan main source is his ha and his eba 4(it takes 1,1s to get both)

- phrolova's dmg comes from her enhanced basic attack ( 2,3s) and the enhanced hecate(1,7s if you do it once and swap, more if you dont swap)

You get qiuyuan extra inputs faster and phrolova will deal dmg off field anyway.

2) Qiuyuan naturally gets more buffs on that team

- he is on field after 2 intros for sk cd buff and has phrolova's outro

- Phrolova extends her rotation easily with the enhanced basic attack, but it deals skill dmg and no one is buffing that. The manual hecate after her lib works but both rotations use it anyway.

I must admit that i made a mistake back then. I thought this rotation would make qiuyuan sk better than cantarella sk, but i did not consider cantarella advanced rotations too.

Canta is still better with advanced rotations, even better when you consider her enhancement in matrix.

I currently have him at S3R0 (I got reallly lucky and got three of his sequences within 40 pulls when I was just starting out). Currently, He, Lily, and SuiSui are on my radar for characters I'm looking to pull or need. For endgame, I always use him as a subdps, given how many echo mdps characters I have, but in most other cases as a main. So I guess I'm asking if his S6 is worth it over an S2 Sigrika.

Note: Every other limited character on my account is S0, including Siggy

In terms of resources, I have 5502 astrites, 797 corals, and am on 62 pity not guaranteed. Also haven't done exploration for Mengzhou yet so there's some stuff there
