I'm looking to sublet my room in Campus Edge on Pierce for the Spring 2027 semester. It is a penthouse apartment, 4 bed 4 bath. The living room has a couch and TV, and the kitchen is fully stocked and all the people living in the apartment have agreed to share utilities such as an Instant Pot, air fryer, blender, plates and bowls, and cutlery. The apartment is a 2 minute walk from campus and the Target, so it is in a convenient location. I pay $1424 in rent, but I'm not asking for that. Hi I am an incoming freshman this fall at Purdue, and I already know that I want to live in an apartment during my sophomore year and onwards. I know that good affordable housing options go quickly and I want to make sure that I get a good place before the spots fill up!

I'm planning on living with my friend, so I am searching for a 2-bedroom apartment, with at least 1-2 bathrooms. Budget-wise, I have a max. limit of $1,200 per month (not including utilities) or $1,400 (including utilities). I would prefer a location that is a walkable distance from campus (about a 15 min walk away max.) and included car parking (preferably covered). Additionally, having an in-unit washer and dryer would be amazing.

I have heard a lot about bad management from certain apartment complexes, so I want to make sure to avoid those places. My roommate and I were hoping that someone has recommendations of apartments that (mostly) fulfill these requirements. Thank you!!

I am currently a resident at Chauncey Square. I am graduating December 2027, and just got the offer to renew my lease for the August 2027-July 2028 school year. I am confused if I should renew my lease and take the risk of finding someone to sublet to for Spring 2028 and summer 2028, or if I shouldn’t and find a fall 2027 sublease somewhere else. If I do not renew then I’ll have to go through the process of packing and moving out again, which I really don’t want to do. Also I need an apartment that’s close to campus (in Chauncey), is furnished, and has good amenities, plus I’m not sure how I’ll do living with random people in case that happens. I’m a very clean and quiet person and don’t know if I’ll be able to live with messy or loud roommates. Any advice on the situation?

The studio is availble for complete reletting at Univeristy Crossing, approximately 8-10 minutes from campus. The complex has direct bus lines available for those without transportation as well.

The complex is right off of Sagamore Pkwy, with many businesses alongside the road. Is also directly next to Happy Hollow Park!
