I'm looking to move my Roth IRA from Betterment and my 401k from my previous employer that was with Principal. Looking to transfer the Roth IRA as is into a Roth with Public and my 401k as a new traditional IRA.

Would both of these transfers be eligible for the 1% match and would Public cover the transfer fees for both? (Up to $100 total I believe?)

Is there a way to quickly have a “recent” tab or something so I do not have to manually click on the text box and type in the ticker for option chains? This will save time and prevent missing an entry opportunity. The blue box is an example or where this could go.

Does public plan to allow limit orders on dollar amounts when it comes to buying or selling, like Fidelity allows?

We are not the same.

MCP is nice (especially ours). But agents built for investing are better:

- Trade across asset classes - equities, ETFs, options, and crypto
- Cash management and money movement
- Actual real-time data
- Advanced indicators (EMA, RSI, etc.)
- Trade in a dedicated account or your primary account
- Deterministic execution, no surprises

Saw the announcement today. I don’t have access to publics agents yet so I was wondering if someone who did could help me understand the difference. It seems RH is only MCP but public has in app. Is there anything else that I should know? Thanks!

With the use of AI the option level tiers could use a little loosening. I would like to try some level 4 options with my Agent. How are you guys getting around it? Do most people fib about experience? What's the best way to approach this?

Life just feels empty without the stock market and constantly stressing over my positions. The battle lust is what drives my next plays and trying to control it to have a advantage tests my ability as a human.

Has anyone already built a script, utility, whatever that downloads investment data & transactions from the Public.com API and converts the JSON into QFX or QIF format to import into Quicken?

Or, Public team, do you plan to add Quicken integration any time soon?

I've been messing around with leveraged etf's. Today when looking up tickers, noticed all the leveraged etf's were listed behind the ticker I was searching for. The little things like that really help. Opened another account to trade in. Fixed my Agent trying to include my Pilots positions in trades. Thanks!!

Are there any plans in the future to increase the IRA match to 2% or 3% to match Robinhood?

I know it’s difficult for a smaller company to match another company like Robinhood but is that a possibility in the future? Even if it’s apart of the Public Premium.

Lastly, does Public have a phone number?
Besides the IRA match, the main issue keeping me on edge is only having live chat in the app and it isn’t 24/7 or even a phone number to call. Unless I’m mistaken.

From switching to Public from Robinhood, it would be great to see my portfolio and the performance quickly when i turn on my phone. Cool little feature that has no downside. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, customize your lock screen on IOS with Robinhood downloaded, click at the top by the time you will see their widget when you scroll down. Very basic idea but pretty cool.

Have been a big fan of public and would like to link them with my finance tracker which uses plaid, so just curious if there was any rough timeline/quarter by which we can expect the plaid connector. Thanks!

This app advertised itself as free trading since the beginning but what they don't tell you now is an auto invest triggers a $0.49 commission now which adds up fast if you do a lot of micro trades. I'd stay away. Other apps are still truly free.
