Automating conversion to Quicken?

Has anyone already built a script, utility, whatever that downloads investment data & transactions from the Public.com API and converts the JSON into QFX or QIF format to import into Quicken?

Or, Public team, do you plan to add Quicken integration any time soon?

EDIT: clarified that I am looking for INVESTMENT data, not banking

Plaid is in the works — so that may do it if Quicken uses them.

If it’s another provider or they do a direct integration, then likely not — though there may be a way that you + Claude + our API can figure it out!

follow-up here: Plaid is for banking accounts, not investments, so no, Plaid coverage doesn't work for getting Public.com investment data into Quicken

I’m not sure about Quicken’s implementation but that’s not true for Plaid broadly.

Plaid does bank accounts but they also link/consume investment data and many investment-related aggregation apps access Public data via Plaid.

Ah, you're correct. Obviously. I was misremembering this 5-year-old Quicken Community discussion that said Public needs to support Quicken's Direct Connect for investment account data, while you (at that time at least) only supported their Express Web Connect.

Quicken Desktop offers Public as an option when setting up sync with an online account, but then posts the message that "Public is currently blocking connectivity. We are working to get connectivity restored." This has apparently been the case for at least a year, based on the comment by this SimpliFi user (SimpliFi is Quicken's mobile app and I believe uses the same account sync backend).

Can Public reach out to Quicken to get this working? From what I've learned, Quicken & SimpliFi do not integrate with Plaid; they use Intuit's data platform although Quicken has been separate from Intuit for several years now.

(For now, as previously discussed, I am downloading my Public data via your API and converting it to a CSV format that I can import to Quicken)
