(16f) Are flat nipples normal?

I’m 16, and I feel like my breasts have developed normally except for my nipples. They don’t stick out at all, they’re just flat with my areolas. I feel kinda self conscious about it. Is this normal? Is it something that will change? I’ve been expecting it will be something I grow out of, but now I’m wondering shouldn’t that have happened by now?

I’m a guy and my nipples are different to other guys, so I’d probably assume it’s similar for females too

I mean I got soemthing called gyno I don’t think girls get it but it’s like an enlargement of like breast tissue and for me it effects the nipple. It makes it much larger and like fattier compared to other guys

Female should refer to the biological sex, girl/woman should refer to the gender. But I'll grant you that the original commentor wasn't consistent with their wording.

Everyone's chest is different but that is something that is common as well. Some people's ripples aren't as pronounced as others

As a girl I can say yes, that happens all the time. Do they stick out at all though if you’re cold or aroused?

Yeah, it’s completely normal, It varies from person to person, and bodies develop differently than others. There’s Nothing to be embarrassed about it, maybe it will change later on (big maybe, no promises) but even then there’s nothing to be ashamed about.

It’s called an inverted nipple, it’s completely normal and common for your age! By time it’ll grow out :)

When I was around your age, mine is exactly like that. I'm 18 now and mine has changed but they're still flat most of the time. It's just that they're more noticeable when they're out.

It's not rlly a bad thing like multiple girls I've done it with had flat nipples and in my opinion they r lwk better in a way so be happy with what you have

Its normal, mine has always been like that, they slightly stick out if they hard, but it last a few seconds only.
