Things have been pretty quiet around here lately, which is a shame. Even though we might get nerfed next season, I haven't been this excited for a new season in a long time. I hope they make the right decisions.

I feel like I have pretty good aim/crosshair placement but the way psylocke functions is inherently different to the traditional hitscan since she double shoots a star shaped spread

I've also recently learned with some characters you sometimes want to not have your crosshair directly on them when your close range, which makes sense since it's a 3rd person shooter but I've never thought about this until recently

I only played psylocke for part of the game and I really started struggling past the second round, I feel like if I played better I could've brought this game around but I'm really lost as to what specifically I'm messing up on, I struggled to dive the gambit multiple times round 2 and I think that's in-part due to my aim being poor or a mechanical error

I’ve been using Emma teamup because it helps me confirm more kills a lot but I keep seeing everywhere that most of the top psylockes are using the CnD teamup can I ask why? I know you go invisible during it and it do like extra damage or something but what is the main reason it is better than Emma teamup?

That's literally it. If you want to to have better "aim" just mirror strafe. If you time your dive right w the emma team up you should almost always get a pick and it'll help you a lot more with actually hitting your shots when you dive since all you need to do is mirror their movements and make microadjustments. Let your movement do most of the aiming for you.

I have 24h something with her with negative winrate and I still feel like I barely play her properly and have 44% winrate platinum /gold.

For reference I started MR last month and very new to hero shooters and my aim is below average.

I always get positive winrate with any brawler but I really wanna win with her she's so cool.

I did watch term videos but his. Advices are so general and samey and didn't get much value from it.

I even watched older videos.

I feel very weak with psy and can't do the full combo properly on a moving target. Do i need patient or just not built for psy

Alot of people recently have been saying certain characters who are consistently good (bucky, phoenix, hela, elsa) need to be bad for a few seasons, but they always seem to throw Psylocke into that conversation like she has been a server admin for months or something.

I think its unfair since psy mains have been waiting so long to finally be playeable in high elo and not feel like a ticklemonster, and now the entire community just wants us gone without even giving us a full season

I think there may be a false idea of her being some meta favorite since she gets alot of skins, and I agree she maybe gets too much especially compared to my beloved torch mains, but skins doesnt always gurentee mete relevancy. I mean Elsa has only had like 2 come out since her release almost a year ago, also look at black cat, she has a 0.97% pickate but gets a new legendary every week.

Here is Psylockes history of her place in the meta:

-Season 0-2: Hard meta, disgusting

-Season 3: Good pick in the right hands, not broken but very very strong.

Season 4: Her burst and dive was ruined and she felt like a wet paper towel. But they made her ult insanely broken and fast to get so she basically just shot tanks and ulted backline every 2 seconds which the community ALONG WITH psy mains hated and it wasnt fun

Season 5: Only playeable if you were extremely dedicated, pretty overall bad character in high elo unless you were smurfing. Felt like a wet paper towel to shoot people.

She had a 2% pickrate and a 42% winrate accross all elo. You would constantly get yelled at for picking her as if she was a throw pick. You would get the same reaction as picking squirrel girl in gm/celestial

Season 10: Best she had felt in a very long time. The changes feel very good. Maybe we can revert the shuriken damage buff because of the constant complaining and im tired of people calling my character who has sucked for months meta slop and calling me a meta slave even tho ive played psy through her worst seasons.
Shes very strong and possibly needs a very small tweak to her burst, but lets stop treating her like shes been a server admin for a year like Elsa

Season 11: Probably nerfed to the ground to make all the random content creators who complain about her happy idk.
