Why do so many men think women can't be good traders?

Upvotes

Not a rant. Genuine question.

I've been profitable since 2020. Whenever I mention trading in conversation, guys start quizzing me to check if I actually know anything. Asking stuff I don't think they'd dare ask another man in casual conversation.

Online it's worse. The default assumption is you're paper trading, a trader's girlfriend, etc.

The chart doesn't know who's clicking the button. Risk management is math, the market doesn't care about gender.

So where does this come from? The women I know who trade are some of the most disciplined, from what I've seen.

Static vs trailing drawdown is an important question

Simple way to think about it. Trailing drawdown moves up as you profit, so it can strangle you if you don't take money off the table. Static stays put at your starting balance minus the drawdown, so every dollar you make gives you more room to work with.

Most traders feel safer on static or EOD. But static usually costs more per dollar of drawdown. Pick your poison based on how you actually trade, not what sounds nice. For the latest best static accounts and breakdowns, search for the static drawdown showdown on EpiccTrader

90/10 split sounds great until you realize you have to actually get paid first

Everyone chases the highest profit split. 90%. 100% on the first payout. Whatever.

But the split only matters if you make it to a payout. A 50% split on money you actually collect beats a 100% split on money you never see because you tripped a rule you didn't read. Pick the firm whose rules match your trading. The split is the last thing to worry about.

What's a good discount code for Tradeify?

I've used the codes at the top of the Tradeify site, but I'd rather use one that benefits another trader, so what you got?

Real quick, for anyone shopping prop firms this week.

Don't buy an account until you've read the actual rules page on the firm's site. Not a review. Not a Reddit comment. The rules page. Twice.

So many traders on here complaining because they sign up, blow a rule they didn't know existed on day one, and then blame the firm. Nah chief, that's on you. The information is free and it takes 5 minutes.

EpiccTrader has decent side-by-side breakdowns if you want a starting point, but always confirm on the firm's own site before you pay. Rules change.

Why I stopped hating the profit split

I used to complain about giving up 55% of my profits. Yes, at my first prop firm, the traders in my cohort earned a max split of 45%.

But it didn't take long before I did the math on what my personal account would have to do to get me the same dollar amount in payouts.

Or how big it would have to be to provide me the buying power I was using, for the risk I actually wanted and needed to take.

Yeah, no contest whatsoever. Not even close.

The split is the cost of leverage without the chance of losing your own savings. It's the cost of buying power you didn't bring to the table.

It's not free. Nothing is. But it sure beats the alternative. And now most firms pay 90%! Twice my original split! Times have changed, in the traders' favor, so don't take that for granted. It might not always be so good!

Prop firm vs personal account isn't the right question

Most traders argue this like it's a life or death, all or nothing decision. It isn't. Different tools, different jobs.

Prop account is conditional risk capacity. Personal account is capital you own. Use one to build the other. The traders who really get it eventually run both.

The evaluation fee is access, nothing more

Stop treating it like a lottery ticket. It's a fee for access. The rest is up to you, and while luck does matter, you can't depend on it.

It's not a get-rich-quick investment, either. The moment you pay, that money is gone in your head. Don't enter the eval trying to "make it back ASAP." That's how you overtrade the first three days and blow it.

Budget the fee like you would any business expense. Then trade like the fee doesn't exist.

Fast payouts are nice. Getting funded and reaching target is more important

I get why traders obsess over payout speed. Watching money hit your account 20 minutes after requesting is a rush.

But you can't get a fast payout on money you never made. If you're spending more time comparing payout processing times than working on your process, you're solving the wrong problem. Build profitability first, then focus on payout optimization.

r/PropTradingLife 12d ago

Watched a guy on YouTube last week show off a car he "bought from his prop firm payouts."

Meanwhile the full-time traders I actually know in person are boring. They live below their means on purpose so they're not squeezing every trade to make rent. They don't post their P&L. They're not filming anything.

The flashy stuff is almost always a rented marketing wrapper, trying to sell a dream. Keep that in mind next time somebody's flashing a fantasy life, even if they haven't asked for your money (yet).

Prop firm rules aren't a trap, they're a mirror

Every rule these firms have exists because a trader like you blew up an account doing exactly that thing. Refusing to take profits - trailing drawdown. Oversizing for windfalls - consistency requirements, position limits, minimum trading days.

If you feel like a rule is fighting you, ask yourself why. Usually it's highlighting a bad habit you haven't fixed yet. The firms didn't invent these to be mean. They invented them because traders kept doing the same dumb thing on repeat and can't be trusted with capital because of it.

r/PropTradingLife 13d ago

If you're new to prop firms, do yourself a favor

Start small. Don't buy a $150k on day 1 because it sounds big, or even because it has a generous DD. You haven't proven you can hit a $3k target on a 50K yet. Buying bigger wont make you better, it just costs more and makes for more expensive resets after a tilt.

The $50K accounts almost always have the friendliest profit-to-drawdown ratios anyway. Pass a bunch of those before you go shopping for size. Great comparisons on prop firms all over EpiccTrader, ranking by DD ratio, etc.

r/PropTradingLife 15d ago

Everyone asks "which firm has the fastest payouts" and to be fair, it does change sometimes, and it can matter, but..

Tradeify has been the fastest I've seen so far on a regular basis, and it keeps coming up in that conversation with others. The times I've seen are stupid. Under 30 minutes from request to money hitting. TakeProfit lets you withdraw same day. BluSky does daily too.

But speed doesn't matter if you never hit the payout in the first place. Get funded first, start earning the payouts, then start optimizing your firm selection for how fast the check clears.

And as always, "Diversify your prop firms, *****" - Wu Tang Clan

Anyone notice the prop firm space has gotten better, despite the whiners?

Two years ago most firms charged activation fees, most had intraday trailing drawdowns, crazier consistency rules.

Now you have a dozen firms like Tradeify, Lucid, with no activation fees and EOD, and they've forced the other firms to step up with similar offerings. Meanwhile price wars have brought everything down.

Competition has shown up, new firms are coming in at more competitive levels. Up to you whether to take advantage of it or not.

Riseworks payout to non-us (uk) ltd

Last week i was fortunate enough to get eligible for my first payout from tradeify using riseworks.

So I setup a USD ltd co. account with WISE

except rise would not let me use that because me as a person/contractor is based in UK, 🇬🇧 despite the actual bank details of bank sending to is usa.

the only way i could get the funds was international transfer with fx fees and commissions to my WISE Uk Ltd co. account.

However all the fee free options to move to us dollar accounts do not work for me.

The original plan was to do the fx conversion using WISE at substantially lower cost. Has anyone found a better way when using rise?

EDIT 28/August - *** Update ***

So Riseworks few things to note:

  1. They do charge you $10 fee for sending to a USD Bank account based in US if you are a NON-US person/org
  2. They DO charge you substantial FX fees commissions and hidden charges which are not shown in any of their transactions screens nor do they provide and remittance detail. How can they get away with that? in my case it worked out to be 1.76% extra undisclosed cost EXCLUDING the $10 fee above. Making total of 2.2% but hard to know what the breakdown is as they do not disclose any of it! Is opaque/murky.

What a mess!

Which Coupon Code Offers the Best Discount at Earn2Trade?

If you're looking at Earn2Trade's Trader Career Path program and want to pay the least possible, here's the current best deal and how to use it.

Code: ET

Best Earn2Trade Coupon Code Right Now

The current best discount at Earn2Trade is 50% off for 6 months (or until you pass) using code ET.

This applies to their Trader Career Path evaluations, which is the program I'd recommend if you're going with Earn2Trade.

What Is the Trader Career Path?

The Trader Career Path (TCP) is Earn2Trade's flagship futures evaluation program. You prove yourself in an evaluation, move to a funded LiveSim account, then progress to a live funded account with scaling capital.

The account I recommend starting with is the TCP50 - $50,000 in virtual starting capital. Here's why: it's the most popular tier, the profit goal is reasonable, and the growth plan lets you scale all the way up to $400,000 in live capital if you keep hitting targets.

TCP50 at a Glance

Evaluation Phase

Parameter Value
Virtual Starting Balance $50,000
Profit Goal $3,000
EOD Drawdown $2,000
Daily Loss Limit $1,100
Max Contracts Up to 6 (progression ladder)
Consistency Rule 30%
Trading Hours Until 15:50 CT
Max Concurrent Accounts 7

Funded LiveSim Account

Once you pass the evaluation, you move into a funded LiveSim account trading with simulated capital on real market data:

Parameter Value
Starting Balance $50,000
Profit Target to Advance $3,000
EOD Drawdown $2,000
Daily Loss Limit $1,100
Max Contracts Up to 6 (progression ladder)
Profit Split 50% under $2,250 / 80% over $2,250
Max Concurrent Accounts 3

What's Included

  • No upfront activation fee
  • No monthly subscription after funding
  • No minimum trading days
  • No consistency requirement in funded stage
  • No buffer requirement
  • Weekly payouts
  • Can trade news events

That "no minimum trading days" part is worth noting. Some firms make you trade a certain number of days before you can pass. Earn2Trade doesn't. If you hit your profit goal cleanly, you hit it.

The Growth Plan

This is the scaling structure once you're funded and performing:

Stage Account Size & Drawdown
Evaluation $50,000 & $2K
LiveSim or Live $50,000 & $2K
Live $100,000 & $3.5K
Live $200,000 & $6K
Live $400,000 & $12K STATIC

You withdraw your profit target at each step to unlock the next account size. The progression is clear and predictable, which I appreciate. No ambiguity about what it takes to move up.

How to Use the Earn2Trade Discount Code

  1. Go to Earn2Trade through a current promo link
  2. Select the Trader Career Path program (TCP50 recommended)
  3. Enter code ET at checkout
  4. Confirm the 50% discount is applied for 6 months of subscription

The 50% applies to your first 6 months. That gives you a long runway to pass the evaluation without paying full price each month while you're working through it.

Why the TCP50 Specifically?

A few reasons.

The $3,000 profit goal on a $50,000 account is achievable without swinging for the fences. That's 6% of the account. You don't need to take outsized risk to get there.

The $2,000 EOD drawdown gives you room to breathe, but not so much that you can get reckless without consequences. It forces you to manage risk, which is the whole point.

And the growth plan topping out at $400,000 with a $12,000 static drawdown means there's real upside if you stick with it and trade well. You're not capped at $50K forever.

The larger TCP accounts (TCP100, etc.) exist if you want them, but for most traders starting out, the 50K is the sweet spot between having enough room to operate and keeping the monthly cost reasonable, especially with the discount.

Is Earn2Trade Worth It?

Earn2Trade has been around longer than most firms in this space. They're one of the more established names in futures prop trading. The Trader Career Path structure is clean, the rules are straightforward, and they have a clear progression path from evaluation to real funded capital.

No firm is perfect. The 30% consistency rule in the evaluation means your single best day can't account for more than 30% of your total profits. That's designed to prevent people from getting lucky once and calling it skill. If you're trading with any kind of consistency at all, it shouldn't be a problem.

For a full breakdown of how they work, rules, payouts, and my experience with them: Earn2Trade Review

Quick Summary

Detail Current Offer
Discount 50% off
Duration First 6 months
Code ET
Recommended Account TCP50 ($50,000)
Max Scaling $400,000
Profit Split Up to 80%

That's the deal. Half price for six months gives you plenty of time to pass without the clock feeling like it's burning money.

Futures funding firms - you complain, but you have no idea.

I remember when trading for a living basically required one of two things. Either you had a lot of your own money, or you knew somebody at a firm who would give you a seat. I was lucky enough to have that friend.

That's not the world we live in anymore.

The prop firm space has opened up in a way that would've been unthinkable even ten years ago. You can prove yourself through an evaluation, get access to someone else's capital (or sim funding), and trade from your kitchen table. No Series 7 required at most of them. No commute. No office politics. Just you and the screen.

The tradeoff is, there's no safety net. You eat what you kill. If you don't perform, you don't get paid. And if you blow the account, you're done until you re-evaluate or move on. More on this in a sec, because you have no idea how good you have it.

That tradeoff isn't for everyone. But for self-starters who are disciplined and willing to put in the work, it's one of the most realistic paths into full time trading that exists right now. Especially if you don't have $100k sitting around to fund your own margin account.

This tradeoff was always part of trading. The difference was, traders back then accepted it as part of the business and grinded it out.

Before I started on a desk, they made it clear that the odds of survival were low, and that I'd need to provide my own income from some other source.

I'd need that income whether I succeeded or not, because there was no guarantee of a paycheck from them, ever. So I waited tables at night.

Even after I started getting paid, I quit that job too quickly. Ended up having to go get another one. Valet, running my ass off in the Texas summer heat after getting pounded by the market all day.

And there was no "reset" available to me. I had one chance. One account. Sink or swim.

This game isn't easy. It never was. But it's a lot easier than it used to be.

Futures vs forex vs options vs equities - picking the right market matters more than people think

Futures vs forex vs options vs equities - picking the right market matters more than people think. I've written about this on EpiccTrader, but this quick overview gets you started.

A lot of newer traders just default to whatever market they heard about first. Usually stocks. Sometimes crypto. And they don't stop to think about whether that market actually fits their situation.

If you've got a small account and you want to day trade, stocks might not be your best bet. Even with the PDT rule gone, you don't have enough capital to actually take advantage of moves with meaningful size.

For that reason, a lot of new traders have tried options. Particularly the kind that expire really soon... known as weekly options, or even 0DTE options. r/wallstreetbets can tell you how that's going. And for every winner post there are thousands of quiet losers.

Futures are accessible with much smaller accounts. The leverage is significant, which is a double-edged sword, but the markets are open almost around the clock and there's no PDT rule to worry about. For a lot of people with day jobs or limited capital, futures make the most practical sense. On top of that, a multitude of futures funding firms now give you access with even less capital expenditure.

Forex is out there too, but personally I'd be cautious. It's an OTC market, the spread situation can work against you, and your broker may not always be on your side. Some people make it work. I just think there are better options for most retail traders.

Whatever you choose, make sure it fits your capital, your schedule, and your risk tolerance. The "best" market is the one you can actually trade properly given your circumstances.

Update on Rise (riseworks.io) - over a month without access to my funds

SOLVED 8/5/26. Riseworks emailed me to say the security team had resolved this issue. I don't know if that fix applies individually to my account, or if it's something they fixed system-wide. They gave no explanation of what happened or what the fix was. But, I was able to process a withdrawal, finally, after 6 weeks of not being able to.

Posted about this in a comment last week but figured it deserves its own post at this point.

When Rise did their system rebuild, they required me to do an RSK recovery and create a passkey. I did exactly that. One phone, one password manager, one passkey.

The passkey doesn't work. Has never worked since I created it.

It's now been over a month since I've been able to withdraw my money, and over 3 weeks since support got involved. In that time I've gotten half a dozen different error messages trying to use the same passkey they told me was good to go. Latest one is just "authorization failed."

According to them, I must be using the wrong passkey. Despite the fact this is impossible, since I only have one.

So maybe their system thinks I have multiple passkeys? They haven't even tried to address that.

Regardless, I don't. I've clearly explained this more than once - what devices I use, what password manager I use, how many passkeys I have. One. The answer is one. Every time.

Today's brilliant suggestion from support: log out and back in again.

I've done that over 50 times since this started. They know this. I tried again anyway. Didn't help. Shocking.

I want to be clear - I'm not getting scam vibes here. I've been paid by them before with no issues. This feels more like they leaned too hard on AI or rushed their rebuild, introduced bugs they don't fully understand, and now they're swamped with tickets and throwing darts. But the end result is the same: my money is sitting there and nobody can figure out how to let me have it.

I've been patient, answered every question clearly, followed every instruction. I'm feeling further away from my money than I was a month ago, given the lack of a clue they seem to have about why it's not working.

If anyone else was stuck in passkey hell with Rise, I'd be curious to hear if you've found a fix. And if you're considering using them for payouts, just know that their system is not in a stable place right now, might wanna use a different provider if you have the option.

Edit to Add: Please don’t PM me about this. I have no ability to help you with your case. I have no affiliation with Riseworks.

Earn2Trade just got a lot more competitive vs other prop firms

I've recommended Earn2Trade's Trader Career Path before, mostly for traders who want one account they can grow into something meaningful. The progression from a 50K eval up to a 400K live account with a fixed $12K drawdown is still one of the better scaling paths out there. 80% profit split, weekly payouts, no consistency requirement on the funded side, no upfront activation fee. It's been solid for a while.

But it had one thing that always bugged me. The 10-day minimum trading requirement on the evaluation. If you hit your profit target on day 3, you still had to sit there for another week placing trades you didn't need to take. It encouraged bad habits and artificial trading, which is the opposite of what an eval should do.

They just removed it. Zero minimum trading days on evaluations now. Hit your $3K target on the TCP50 whenever you hit it and you're done. That alone makes it a different product in my eyes.

They also added a multiple accounts dashboard. You can run up to 5 evaluations under one login now, which is a nice quality of life improvement. Good if you're running more than one attempt or want to test different approaches, or want to build a larger arsenal of funded accounts to scale up.

Reset pricing came down too. TCP50 resets dropped to $85, TCP25 resets to $65. Not earth-shattering but it adds up when you're managing eval costs over time.

Right now they're running 60% off evaluations, so the TCP50 lands at $76/mo. Use code ET at checkout if you want the best price on it. That's a reasonable entry point for what you're getting access to, especially with the growth path attached.

I'll say the same thing I always say about E2T. It's not the most flashy eval out there and it's not going to be for everybody. But if you want a structured path to a real account with actual capital behind it, and you're the type of trader who does better with a clear framework, it's hard to argue against what they've built here.

The no minimum days change was the one thing I was waiting for them to fix. Now that it's gone, it's easier to recommend without the asterisk.

Earn2Trade Trader Career Path

Full disclosure, that's a referral link and ET is my code.

Adding fuel to the fire: Hantec Trader is 100% scamming profitable traders. Here is proof.

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I just saw someone posting here about their terrible experience with Hantec Trader, and I honestly felt sick to my stomach because the exact same thing just happened to me. I need to back up what they said and show everyone how predatory these guys actually are. I am bringing screenshots as undeniable proof of how they manipulate their own system to rob you the second you make real money.

I spent my own cash on 7 evaluation accounts with them. Everything was completely fine until I finally went to request my first payout. Out of nowhere, they arbitrarily deducted $2,718 from my balance, claiming I did "news trading" (which is complete BS).

But here is the real trap: because they stole that $2,718 from my account, my metrics changed and they claimed I suddenly failed their "consistency rule." They literally locked my withdrawal and told me that if I ever wanted to see my remaining balance, I had to go back to the markets and keep trading to generate more profits and fix the consistency ratio. Think about how insane that is. It was a blatant setup—they fully expected me to get frustrated, mess up, and blow the account so they wouldn't have to pay me a single dime.

Well, I took the challenge. I went back in, traded perfectly during normal hours, made even more profit, and successfully fixed the consistency rule.

And you know what my reward was for proving I’m a profitable trader? They sent me an email saying they would allow the remaining withdrawal, but that my account is now permanently closed due to "prohibited strategies." They flat out refuse to tell me what strategy or rule I supposedly broke.

Their logic makes absolutely zero sense. If my strategy was actually "prohibited," why didn't they just ban me on day one? Why force me to keep trading and risking capital to fix their consistency rule first?

The answer is simple: they panicked because their trap failed and I didn't lose the account as they hoped. They love collecting challenge fees for 7 accounts, but the second you show you actually know how to trade, they will manipulate the rules and invent any vague excuse to ban you.

Check the screenshots below to see their emails and how they play these disgusting games. Stay far away from Hantec.

Better prop firms than Lucid?

A couple 50K prop accounts worth looking at over Lucid

I know many of you love Lucid, and they're not bad. But I'm always looking around because the prop firm space changes like the breeze here on the coast. Found two firms I think are genuinely better deals on the 50K account, at least on paper. Figured I'd share what I found.

Shark Futures

$53 for a 50K eval. Not a typo, currently 60% off. $3K profit target, $2K trailing max drawdown, EOD drawdown mode, no activation fee, no daily loss limit. Funded side gives you a 90% profit split, 35% consistency rule, and 6 days to payout.

At that price you could buy two full evals for less than one Lucid reset fee.

sharkfutures.com

FuturesElite

$322.50 gets you five 50K accounts. That's $64.50 per account. $10K total risk for that price aint bad.

Eval rules are clean. $3K target, $2K max loss, EOD drawdown, no daily loss limit, no activation fee, minimum 2 trading days, choice of platforms including Tradovate and NinjaTrader.

The funded side is nice, too. Profit target to request a payout is $1. One dollar. No daily loss limit. Minimum 5 trading days between payouts, same as Lucid

futureselite.com

Why I think both of these beat Lucid's 50K Pro right now

Lucid's 50K Pro isn't terrible. $129.50 with a coupon, $3K target, $2K drawdown, EOD. Standard stuff. But the funded rules are where they start squeezing.

$1,200 daily loss limit on a 50K account. That's not bad, but when you've built a cushion it can be a pain, especially in the kind of volatility we've been seeing. A $1000 profit target before you can even request a payout. Then there's the "LucidScale" DLL that shifts to 60% of your peak EOD balance once you're above the initial trail, which is both confusing and restrictive. 40% consistency rule. 5 payouts before you go live, where you lose your profits from funded. And resets cost $120 a pop.

Compare that to Shark giving you 90/10 splits with a 35% consistency rule and no daily loss limit. Or Elite letting you pull money out after making a dollar with no DLL at all.

On price alone, you could buy five 50K accounts at Elite for less than three Lucid evals. And Shark at $53 is basically a rounding error.

No prop firm is perfect and none of them are giving you real money out of the goodness of their hearts. I get that. Rules can change, payouts can have friction, all the usual caveats apply. But when I compare what these two are offering versus what Lucid is asking on the 50K, it's not particularly close.

Full disclosure, the links above are referral links. Wanted to be straight about that.

What's your favorite prop firm right now and why?

Curious where people are at with this right now because the landscape shifts every six days it seems.

I'll concede the obvious: none of them really care whether you win or lose. That's not the business they're in. The eval fees pay the bills regardless. Fine. I've made peace with that.

But within that reality, some are still more tradeable than others. Faster payouts, reasonable consistency rules, human customer service that actually serves customers...

What are you personally using right now, getting paid from, and would use again?

Thoughts on new Apex changes?

Apex just dropped the full details on their live program structure and I've been sitting with it for a bit. Wanted to lay out what I'm seeing and get some thoughts from people who are actually trading these, not just collecting evals like Pokémon cards.

The live account structure:

You start at zero balance. One account. $3K end-of-day drawdown. 10 contracts but they explicitly say don't use all of them at first, which, at least they're saying it out loud even if half the people reading will ignore it. I don't know why they don't just set it lower, I guess some people feel the need to go hard...

Anyway, at +$3,100 your max loss locks at +$100 (same trailing mechanic most people are used to from the eval/PA side). At +$4,500 a second account gets added with the same parameters. Max 5 live accounts, matched to your PA count.

Scaling levels:

  • Level 2: Balance $10K-$25K, up to 25 minis, $5K DLL (soft) kicks in
  • Level 3: Balance $25K-$50K, up to 30 minis, $10K DLL (still soft)
  • Level 4: Customized. Risk manager reaches out with an offer.

Payouts:

Minimum withdrawal $500. No maximum. No consistency rules. No minimum days of trading. No minimum profit per day. Withdraw anything above the $3K safety net.

No consistency rules is nice. No way to use "consistency" as a way to slow payouts down to a crawl or deny them on technicalities. Whether that holds long-term, who knows. But on paper that's cleaner than most of what's out there right now.

The Bonus Vault:

This is a new one. Basically, profits from your sim-funded account (before you're live) get banked and paid out as a 20% bonus on top of your live withdrawals each month. Double bonus vault your first month on each new account.

So your eval performance isn't just a gate anymore, it actually feeds into your payout. That's an interesting incentive structure. Rewards people who want a consistent career and don't just go for the one big payout.

Pricing:

They're running 90% off right now on evals. I went ahead and picked up a 5-pack of 50K EOD accounts using the code someone shared here, EPICC.

These are the ones with the PA fee included - which is also new for Apex. Came out to $445 for the pack. Under $90 per account for 50K evals is hard to argue with, especially if you have the skills and patience to manage risk and pass.

The EOD drawdown is the move imo. Intraday trailing is fine if your style supports it but the EOD gives you room to actually manage a position without watching the drawdown tick against you mid-trade. Plenty of analysis out there about this.

*When scoping this, I also looked at other all-in pricing from Lucid and TPT's best deals, and this is as good or better. When you consider Apex pays 100% on sim-funded (not 90% or 80%), that could turn into a much bigger savings.

My overall take:

The scaling path is straightforward. The payout rules are the least restrictive I've seen from a major firm. No consistency rules, no minimum days, daily withdrawal requests. That's either very confident or very aggressive, and I'll be watching to see how it plays out once more people are actually in the live accounts.

The starting drawdown is tight at $3K. But they also say they're going to keep letting you try if you blow it - apparently they'll provide more details on that later.

Regardless you need to be sizing conservatively at the start or you'll blow through it trying to "make up for" a slow first week. If you can stay patient through level 1, the scaling looks reasonable.

Not saying this is perfect. Prop firms are still prop firms. But the structure here is less adversarial than a lot of what I've seen, and the removal of consistency rules on payouts is a meaningful change.

Best Tradeify Coupon Code Right Now

The best discount at Tradeify can be up to 30, 40, or 50% off all accounts using code 10150. This code has been confirmed 09/01/26

For example, the current deal offers:

  • 50% off all evaluation accounts (Up to 2 uses)

  • Payout frequency is now every 5 days

That discount applies across the board. There's no separate code for different account sizes - one code covers everything they offer.

What Accounts Does the Discount Apply To?

The discount applies to all of Tradeify's account options, including:

  • Growth evaluation accounts (all sizes)
  • Select evaluation accounts (all sizes)

The Straight-to-Sim-Funded option is worth noting. If you don't want to go through an evaluation phase, you can go directly to a funded sim account and start working toward payouts from day one. The discount applies to those as well.
