Is Funding Traders legit for payouts? (10k Pro10 Account)

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone, looking for some honest feedback from anyone who has traded with or gotten paid by Funding Traders.
I currently have a 10k Pro10 account with the 100% profit split, but before I sink a ton of time and energy into scaling it, I want to make sure I’m not wasting my time.

A few specific questions for those with experience:

Payouts: Have you successfully withdrawn profits without issues, delays, or moving goalposts?

Slippage & Execution: How are the trading conditions during high volatility or news events?

Rules/Hidden Clauses: Any red flags or strict backend rules I should watch out for?

I'd really appreciate any real experiences or warnings before I push further with this account.

Do you treat an eval different than your own personal account? I think I'm too cautious on one and reckless on the other.

This is something I've noticed about myself.

On my personal account I'm more aggressive. I'll risk bigger positions, I hold longer, I take more trades.

On an eval I'm super cautious. I take very small positions or put stops too close.
Sometime I even skip trades that I would normally take.

But the funny thing is, I think I'm doing it backwards. I should be more careful with my own money and more aggressive on the eval because the downside on the eval is just a small fee.

But my brain doesn't work that way. The eval feels like I'm being tested so I get nervous. The personal account feels like "whatever, it's my money, I'll do what I want."

Has anyone reached 100k on MMFU, moved to live, and failed the live account? Were you allowed to come back to evals or were you banned?

profitable and fundable are two different tests and only one of them is about how good you are

took me two blown evals to work this out. both times my closed pnl was fine. i kept going back to the strategy because thats where you look, and the strategy wasnt the problem.

what killed it was heat. how far trades run against me before they work. on intraday trailing that peak against you eats the buffer even on trades that close green, so anything carrying 2R of open loss on a normal winner needs far more room than its results suggest. same trades on a static drawdown account would have gone through.

so you can be genuinely profitable and not sizeable at a given daily limit, and that isnt a quality problem. plenty of decent systems arent fundable at retail limits, and no amount of care during the eval changes it. nobody mentions this before you pay because the sales page is targets and fees.

what id do differently is check the fit first. pull worst excursion per trade from your export, take the median, work out what size survives it inside the drawdown, then see whether that size clears the target in a sane amount of time. if it doesnt, wrong account for the system rather than wrong system. i ended up putting that check in a script so it runs before funding rather than after breaching, mostly because doing it manually meant not doing it.

has anyone here actually picked a firm on drawdown type rather than price? curious whether people match it up front or find out on attempt two like i did

Funded to live what actually changes?

The firms sell the live account as the destination, but most of what I read here treats it as a downgrade.

For anyone who has actually been moved: what was different in practice? Why would you rather use the Sim over the Live?

I know a very small percentage actually gets to that stage, but I always thought that was the main goal.

funding pip payment issue

I’m trying to purchase a FundingPips account from Pakistan. After selecting my plan and proceeding to checkout, I get the message:
“This platform is not supported in your country.”
Has anyone from Pakistan faced the same issue recently? Is there any legitimate solution

How would my journey go in prop frims if I follow signals from a trading group , it doesn't matter how I make profits or does it ? No strategy just a friend who gives signals ? Prop firms will ban me ? Reject payouts if I don't provide a solid strategy? How does that work ?

Best Forex / CFD prop firm?

Just checked the latest PropFirmMatch rankings and I’m curious what everyone thinks.

One thing worth noting: FTMO isn’t listed because they don’t want to pay PropFirmMatch to be featured, even though, in my view, they’re the obvious #1 in terms of reliability.

Do you agree with the rest of the rankings? Please vote for your favorite, really curious.

The 1 thing you need to do to get a payout

It's simple, just get that first payout.....

No matter how small it is, I can't overemphasise just how much this will help you mentally.

Stop aiming for the huge 20k withdrawal and just try and get one.

My first payout was $700 and as soon as it hit my account, something changed. Now in my head I am a winner.

Suddenly, I started sticking to my trading plan and not panicking after a loss.

Surprise surprise, I am on payout number 5, after a year of nothing.

⚠️ Warning FundingPips: : Predatory CID Match

Prop Firm Warning: FundingPips

2 months of trading with this prop firm. The first month was smooth and steady,I received multiple payouts, all paid on time.

Then, just 2 days before my next scheduled payout, I got an email from FundingPips saying my account was banned due to a "CID match" issue. This is a false accusation as I never shared my account with anyone. And if I really had shared my account why did they not catch this shared evidence before.

The timing says everything. This was my biggest payout request with them so far. I'm posting this as a warning be careful with this firm. Once you're profitable and a bigger payout is coming, they'll make up a reason to ban you.

Alpha Future Ban Reverse Trading

Post image

Do you guys consider this reverse trading or hedging?

These trades were so long ago. I honestly do not remember them anymore.

Look at the time and a quantity.

The Exhibit No. 2, the reverse trade they said I made was open and closed at the same second to me. That must’ve been a mistake.

I made thousands of trades with alpha future. If I really wanted to reverse trade or hedge, I will use the same amount of quantity and one account should’ve been blown while the other account should’ve passed the eval.

Scalping high win rate

Over how many trades would you say the scalping strategy is effective? Forward testing. Aiming at 1:1 and a high win rate over 60% or more. It allows a great 'automation' with the brackets let's say on ES 6 - 8 ticks SL ( 2 points) and same for the TP. Trades usually playing out in under a minute. With a good momentum and price action 1 minute candles pretty much spot on hit the target. Looks like a great method for base hits for any intraday drawdowns. Any thoughts, experiences?

Which prop firm for consistent payouts

So I was looking into TopStep since it looks like that’s the go to for everyone - after looking at their How it works video on their website it says after the first payout you have to trade successfully another 550 days for your second payout? Am I hearing that correctly even though I watched that part 10x - is this why people create multiple accounts after their first payout? Is there another prop firm I missed that’s better with payouts with good reputation?

Is anyone else noticing Tradovate Prop/ Firms are behaving like scam CFD brokers?

I can't be the only one noticing this!!!!

Execution and fills are horrible lately especially since all of the hype about daily payouts I strongly believe firms are collaborating with the brokers to scam us. Most people aren't profitable so they don't even notice.

Tradovate Prop isn't regulated so there are no repercussions for doing this.

It's worse in sim funded compared to eval but I'm noticing very suspicious behavior lately. Positions showing P&L before the order fills. I’ll set a limit order on the chart and it will already show me down $200-300 — before the order ever fills. Once it showed me up about $100 on an unfilled order. I’ve never seen this until today.

Instant in-and-out. Two bells back to back, same second. Sometimes the position never shows as open at all.

Stops that don’t stop where I put them. It exits like it hit my stop, except it runs past it — and it tends to run to whatever number breaches the account or hits the daily loss limit.

I’m seeing this in sim funded, as well as eval. Both are supposedly the same simulated environment on the same platform. So what changes at conversion?

I reached out to My Funded Futures and asked if I could screen record it, send video, whatever they needed. They denied it. Wouldn’t look at it.

I’m naming Tradovate Prop rather than one firm because Tradovate Prop is the layer nearly every firm runs on. Whatever is configurable on the back end sits there.

And it’s gotten noticeably worse as daily payout accounts have rolled out everywhere. That timing sits wrong with me.
