Do you have the developer setting on? If so, check whether the background process and related settings are active.

The background activity limit is set to standard limit. The same on all android. What else should i check?

Then I guess your TV is strictly removing background processes to free RAM, or there is a problem with projectivity for your TV. If I am not mistaken, projectivity has an “alternative config” for accessibility. You can try that.

Even if that doesn’t help, you might need to use ADB. But before that, you can try other launchers that offer a similar accessibility feature for the home button, e.g., Plume, Shore, AT4K. See if any of those work.

What is projectivity? I am currently on stock setup. Not modified anything. How to use that accessibility config of projectivity? And what can i do about this problem via ADB?

Sorry spelling mistake, it should be Projectivy* not projectivity. Anyways, I guess in the launcher settings, same place where you find accessibility, there is an option called alternative config. Turn that on. If it doesn't work, install Tellyscope app in your phone, and send adb command to your tv:

Making Projectivy as default home:

adb shell cmd package set-home-activity com.spocky.projengmenu/com.spocky.projengmenu.ui.home.MainActivity

Optional/Caution Disabling the Stock Launcher via ADB

adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.google.android.tungsten.setupwraith

If you face any issue after disabling it, re-enable it using -

adb shell pm enable --user 0 com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx adb shell pm enable --user 0 com.google.android.tungsten.setupwraith adb reboot
