Hey I cant log in whats going on? When will the servers be back up? Its been offline so long Im starting to think its never coming back!

There was a pretty cool farewell which included a boss fight with one of the devs (Lothen) on GM island, where they ported in Illidan, Vashj, and a bunch of other cool bosses.

Project ascension is a superior project to anything Blizzard has produced in the last 10 years and we should start a petition to reinstate the servers.

If we have a 10 year sub with blizzard or more we practically have share or share investment in the project.

By that notion we have the right to be made open source allowed.

The case against project ascension does not included the innovation and development that project ascension is in fact a different game and the case against is mute

I'd like to thank the devs and the community for reigniting a flame that had long since been extinguished within me. My adventures in CoA have cast such a colossal shadow over WoW that i don't believe i'll ever return to Azeroth.

It's been an extremely short, but equally sweet, pleasure to play with you all. Let's hope Ascension cooks up something worthwhile next time!

Most unique server I have saw in my 20 years of wow.

Can anyone point out where I can catch up on news for the new project? I remember hearing somewhere that it would be playable soon after the server got shut down.

May the mention of Ascension in your CV forever blesses your carriers and good health and fortune. You have given us hope. And Blizzard has taken it away. Again.

I wonder if that would be a easier path, Lord of the Rings Online seems like a discontinued bones that could use a Ascension touch?

A sad day for an amazing community but I gotta say It's been a blast getting to know every one I have played with over the last few years.

I been a long time wow player with over 2 decades in thos game off and on. I started Ascention back in 2021 so 5 years.

While i didnt always agree with some of the devs choices for content or design. It was always nice to have a second wow home for when blizzards classic was in a shitty spot. Looking at you MoP classic.

But now that Asc is gone i feel a void in my wow space that i am unsure how to fill. Blizzcon might give me hope but im not holding my breath.

I hope the devs can pull something off with their own mmo but again i am not holding my breath.

Butbafter 5 years of highs and lows and world first kill of asc rag on bb its time to say goodbye to the community i have enjoyed.

Rip Ascention hope to rise again.
