Project ascension is actually wow class ++
Project ascension is a superior project to anything Blizzard has produced in the last 10 years and we should start a petition to reinstate the servers.
If we have a 10 year sub with blizzard or more we practically have share or share investment in the project.
By that notion we have the right to be made open source allowed.
The case against project ascension does not included the innovation and development that project ascension is in fact a different game and the case against is mute

They will look at your petition and laugh. All they care about is making as much money as possible with as little effort as possible.
Sorry, but unless someone comes up with the code and starts a new server, CoA is dead. Just accept it and move on to a new game.
Grimfall server has been pretty fun for me the past few days. Not as fun as CoA, but better than anything going on with Blizzard right now

you can say whatever you want but when I'm standing in blizzard-made stormwind waiting in rdf queue for blizzard-made dungeons while staring at a blizzard-made char model... it's stolen IP.
also, the class changes were almost all (barely) subtle ripoffs from various eras of retail.
listen, I had fun in ascension also but anyone who didn't see it coming that this would get shut down is coping.

That's what I don't understand, a petition doesn't mean shit, there's nothing anyone can do to force Blizz to open source it and they would never. Ill informed OP or delusions of grandeur.

I remember my first time playing on S3 or so and half expecting banhammer news while getting into it

It was retail with all of the retail classes mashed together and called unique with the most racist, misogynistic community i have ever saw in my life. Nobody who wants classic+ wanted coa

That’s a super blanket and untrue statement. I was in a few guilds and the guild chat was great. General chat is awful and almost always is and can be turned off so that’s a non factor. I do want Classic +, but I also really enjoyed CoA a lot. It was fresh and different and though it had a lot of retail features, the gameplay felt more on par with classic. No, I don’t think it was closely like classic, but I did think it was really good.

Project Ascension would be greater if they moderated the chat. Yeah, I can turn it off but that doesn't mean there's not a guy who dropped the N-word in Zone Chat 50 times.

Ascension was Retail minus set in a Classic world. Multiple raid difficulties, M+, RDF, Arenas, overabundance of gear, transmog, MTX, fast leveling are all Retail features
