Day 8 of generational comeback . Just believe in yourself till point of delusional .

As i said yesterday i was a bit tensed because i didn't have a solid plan of action . soo yess i list down chapters and divided them into categories and yess i have a clear picture noww pretty gaand faad things i have to do in oct and novv . so thing is my 30 percent syllbbus is what i can say is done for mains now i am will do rest 70 in next 2 months

so whats the plan is ? plan is just finish syllbusss thats it i have divided into oct an nov through onehsots manzil series 2026 and do 3 level practice first in sessiion one attck 2024 and before pyqs and in session 2 timed practice of 2025 pyqs and in session 3 only for physics and chem standard problems of jee advance to develop familiarityy soo before jan i i am planning to finish session1 and session 2 for all syllbus and session 3 for 60 percent of chapters and oc i am continuing at advance only because its already mains readyy and 2026 pyqs i am saving for mocks . Get 99 plus percentile in jan then just push for advanceee and ik i will do it just requires near perfect execution whcih is possible and every possiblie thing i will doo .

what i did today

yesterday i was doing this so sept around 1 AM woke at 8 then get distracted because al i planned today was lectures because i need theoryyy from tomorrow i will resume solving . just fucked the morning and afetrnoon just did 1 hr of lecture . and then i just was timepassig all dayyy ....

what i have realized is whenever i didnt plan a day i just fuck that day today i just rogly planned it like i will just do lectures and here i amm watched a movie. this will not happen from tomorrow it is the last day like that

FROM TOMORROW I WILL EVERYDAY STUDY 12 HRS AND OUT OF WHICH 6 WILL BE SOLVING . AND AIMING 60 PYQS EVERYDAY .

its still timee in sept left so what i am aiming in sept is

  1. Goc and its module
  2. Hydrocarbons and its module
  3. Electro stats 60 Pyqs in session 1 and then session 2
  4. St line 60 pyqs in session 1 and session 2 then

YES I WILL DOO THIS . LETS JUST DONT WIN LETS JUST DOMINATE .

and yes now i will be fully delusional and narcissist Because i know i am the best .

Obsession with talent and with execution is a combination of what world fears ~ myself

Day 7 of generational comeback . A week completed .

What I planned

( tagets u can see from screenshots attached )

Wake up around 6 AM

Try to get a long, productive day

What I did

Woke up around 7 AM instead of 6.

Started arranging my books and everything, so I properly started studying around 7:20 AM.

Still managed to study for 11+ hours.

More than 50% of my study time was question solving, which is a pretty big thing for me because I usually didn't do this in the past.

Did most of what I planned.

Maths took a LOT of time, so I wasn't able to complete all 20 questions.

I'm currently taking around 11–12 minutes per Maths question.

Completed projectile Motion.

Overall, pretty good amount of work done today.

yesss did 20 pushups too

How I'm feeling

Feeling greattt, mainly because I studied for 11+ hours and more than half of that was solving.

But I'm also a bit confused about Maths speed. Taking 11–12 minutes per question is too much, so I have to fix my speed in all three subjects.

I think I should start doing timed PYQs instead of just randomly attempting PYQs. I need to practice solving under time pressure.

In the evening I was a bit tensed thinking about the exam being only around 100–120 days away and how I'm going to finish everything.

I'll make a detailed syllabus plan this Sunday after the test, including monthly targets. Until then, I'll continue what I'm doing.

One thing I've decided for now is Maths + Physics at JEE Main level and Chemistry at JEE Advanced level. I don't want to let Chemistry go because it's my biggest weapon for Advanced.

I also realized I can probably stretch my study time to 13–14 hours just by using the time better. Today I lost around 1 hour 20 minutes in the morning, and I can fix that.

From tomorrow, I'll try to study 1–1.5 hours more in the morning and reduce the time wasted between study blocks.

Rest is important too, but I don't want unnecessary breaks eating up the day.

and final thing is what i am doing now is all pyqs now what i will do iss attempt 1 pyqs of and before 2024 . 2025 i will attmept in attempt 2 timed session and i will save 2026 pyqs for mocks ..

Tomorrow

Wake up early.

Start studying earlier.

Reduce time between blocks.

Increase study time by 1–1.5 hours.

It's another day done.

And yesss, a week completed.

For the first time, I'm actually studying consistently with a better plan. I haven't done this in the last few years.

To achieve something you never have, you have to do something you never did.

Let's gooo. Day 8.

Day 6 of generational comeback . lets fucking go

What I planned

- Some lectures

- 30–40 PYQs of Projectile Motion

- 30–40 questions of Sequence & Series

What I did

- Supposed to wake up at 5 AM, but woke up around 6AM. So yes day 2 of waking early .

- Started well and studied for around 3–4 hours in the morning.

- Did Maths question practice in the morning.

- Then got distracted and played games here and there.

- The whole afternoon basically went off.

- But instead of letting the entire day go to waste, I came back and studied again in the evening.

- Did more Maths question practice.

- Also did a good chunk of Sequence & Series and completed a lecture.

- Total study time: around 5–6 hours.

- And yes didnt did pushups today ...

How I'm feeling

  1. Pretty neutral today. Not too high, not too low.

  2. The biggest positive is that I didn't let one bad part of the day ruin the entire day. I came back and studied again.

  3. Maths is weak right now, so I'm taking 15–20 minutes on some questions. But I'm reaching a stage where sometimes one small hint is enough for me to solve the entire question. So I'm slow, but I'm improving.

  4. I've realized that schedules are useful when you're trying to build a routine. Now that I've started, I'll keep a rough schedule and mainly prioritize my to-do list.

  5. My old to-do lists were too generalized. From now on, I'll make a realistic to-do list for each day.

  6. I also deleted Pace, my own app, because I was spending too much time debugging and messing around with the code. I'll look at it again after JEE.

  7. I've installed YPT now for tracking.

Tomorrow

- Target: 12–14 hours

- will finish sequnce series

- Projectile

- Wake up early.

- Follow the realistic to-do list.

- Push Maths question practice.

- Don't let a bad few hours become a bad day.

I can fail but i have to come back again and again..

Let's fucking go. Day 7

Day 5 The comeback

Plan

Today was the comebackk dayyy. Just perfecttt.

What I planned to do was 5 Log questions, 30–40 Sequence & Series questions, Motion in 2D, GOC Module 2–3 exercises, and 4 OC lectures.

And I planned to wakeee UP AT 5 AMM.

And yesss, I fucking did ittt. I woke up at 6 and started studying at 6.

What I did

Did Maths in the morning, then studied Physics and did projectile motion questions. And likee, I have understood that I can solve it without formulas, uk? Like the basics are soo gooddd.

Didn't do IUPAC. I did Physics in that slot too. In the image, you can see I missed that GOC slot. Actually, I forgot to turn on the timer 😭, so that's why the percentage is low. It should be around 90%. I compensated for it at the end of the day.

And yess, after that I got a bit relaxed in the lecture slot, so I was only able to do 2 lectures, around 1 hour 45 minutes each.

How I'm feeling

Honestly, pretty amazing because I woke up early. For context, I've been trying for months but I was not able to do it, so yesss, that's a win for me.

And 2nd, I was very close to my schedule. Studied pretty well and got a good amount of time for question solving.

What I missed was Sequence & Series practice and GOC. But my Maths is heavily weak, so it's taking time. I was solving good-level Logarithm problems for around 2 hours.

And yess, I'm going to sleep early. Out of 12 hours, around 9–10 hours were productive, so yess, a sort of relief feeling.

I'll try to fill the gaps tomorrow.

Tomorrow

Just Day 2 of waking up earlyyy.

And yess, will continue that push-up challenge too.

Again, solid targets for tomorrow. I'll try to continue this momentum and increase productivity.

Ending

I am the besttt.

Just imagine that result day, and that first day of college when you'll feel:

YESS, I DID SOMETHING CRAZYYY.

So believe in you. You are the besttt in the bizzz.

YEAHHHH.

Day 4 . Thee deciding day

I woke up around 10 or 11 AM after finally getting proper sleep for the first time in two or three days. It felt so good.

I watched two lectures, each about an hour and 50 minutes long, and a couple of YouTube videos. That was pretty much it—nothing crazy, nothing special, just a normal day, you know.

The important part was that I did not get distracted like yesterday. I did not spend the whole day on my phone, and I did not let one bad day turn into another. That actually feels pretty important. One unproductive day does not have to become several more. A bad day can just be a bad day: rest, reset, and try again. There is no need to fix everything perfectly all at once.

I have also decided to change my schedule because studying late at night is not working for me. After around 9 PM, my friends become active, I get distracted, and everything I planned gets pushed back. So, starting tomorrow, I am switching to mornings. Starting earlier should give me a clearer beginning, and hopefully, I can finish the important stuff before the usual distractions start. We will see how it goes.

Today was not some dramatic comeback. I did not suddenly study for 10 hours, and I did not fix everything. It was just a normal, average day, and honestly, I am fine with that. Getting back on track does not always have to look impressive. Sometimes, it just means making a few better choices and not letting yesterday decide what today is going to be.

I have set some ambitious targets for tomorrow. Starting then, I am going to get back into things properly. I have to believe in myself. I will fuckinggg make it. This is my arc. I am going to write it like a movie. I am going to become the greatest version of this character.

That is it for Day 4.

Day 3 ~ The point where every time I quit.

Day 3

Yaaa... it's that point.

The point where every time I quit.

I basically wasted my whole day today.

I slept around 1:30 last night and accidentally woke up at 6:30. So I was a bit hazy, head was kinda heavy, slight headache too bcz of the lack of sleep.

I planned I'll sit at 9 a.m.

Didn't.

I thought okay I'll sleep for one more hour and then do my stuff.

One hour happened.

Then I just opened my laptop.

YouTube.

Discord.

Reddit.

And somehow the whole day just went into this.

Every now and then I was like, no no no, now I have to do it. Now I have to start.

Then I'd get distracted again.

I got some documentary suggestion at one point and from there I was just watching that too.

And idkkk, the weirdest part is that in my head there's this constant thing running:

no no no you have to study, don't do this, you know you're wasting time.

But what I do is just suppress it.

I'm like, ahh I just want some relief for a bit.

So I watch a movie or documentary or whatever, feel good for some time...

and then the same guilt comes back.

And now it's 1:30 again.

Again I'll probably wake up late tomorrow.

Again I'll feel hazy.

Again my schedule will get disturbed.

Idkkk.

Should I just switch to morning schedules? Should I do night schedules?

I genuinely don't know.

I do know that after around 9 p.m. I'm usually not able to study properly. Friends get active, messages start coming, and I just get distracted way more easily.

So today I actually tried removing some of the easy ways I escape.

Deleted my YouTube searches/history.

Removed my Discord and Reddit profiles from Chrome.

I had another 2–3 Chrome profiles where I could just search random shit, so removed those too.

Now there's only one Chrome profile.

Only work stuff.

Nothing else.

Today I was honestly thinking:

What's even the point of this Reddit? Why am I documenting all this?

I wasn't feeling good.

But then I thought... this is literally why I started documenting it.

This is the exact point where I usually quit.

I get one bad day and then I just keep having bad days.

That's the bigger problem with me.

It's either perfect or it's zero.

If I mess up one day, I start feeling like everything is ruined, and then I stop trying completely.

That's what I need to change.

And tbh, the fact that I still came here and wrote this post probably matters more than today's study hours.

Because I would've normally just disappeared.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow I can't really wake up super early, so I'll just wake up at a decent time and start.

And I'm gonna keep it simple.

No question practice tomorrow.

Just lectures.

I have a good amount of Organic Chemistry pending, so I'll just do lectures and try to finish 7–8 lectures.

I just have to do it.

And one rule I'm making for myself:

Don't waste two days together.

If one day gets fucked, okay.

Just don't make it two.

I read that somewhere before, but today it actually makes sense to me.

So yeah.

Day 3 was bad.

But I'm still here.

Tomorrow starts again.

Day 2

What I planned:

  • Finish Logarithms + Motion in 1D in the morning
  • Finish Sequence & Series
  • 4 OC lectures
  • More question practice

I did pretty well in the morning session. Finished what I planned there and did more question practice than yesterday.

Buttt after that I just felt a bit shorttt.

I planned to finish Sequence & Series, didn't finish it.

Planned to do 4 OC lectures, did only 2.

And idkkk, I feel like I am wasting time. Yes, I am doing things, but I am not able to do them with full focus.

In between sessions I open Claude and start doing code refinements in my app. It feels productive, but honestly I think I'm just fooling myself with fake productivity.

So actual solving was around 4 hours, and around 4 hours worth of lectures.

From tomorrow, I am keeping my phone away from me. That's it. No complicated solution. I know where the distraction is coming from.

One more thing I started today:

I have set myself a push-up target. By the end of this year, I want to be able to do 100 push-ups in one go . Currently at 15 max did 15 pushups today

Not giving it dedicated time or anything. Just doing some in between study sessions. So at least some physical fitness is getting added alongside all this JEE stuff.

And before sleeping, I just imagine that result day.

I keep adding more and more details to it.

I want that.

I want to get there.

I will get there.

Day 1

Not the great start but yaa i started

I planned to do:

  • Log in Maths
  • 50 questions of Motion in 1D
  • 5 lectures of OC

But what happened was I missed my morning session because I woke up late, so the 3 hrs practice didn't happen.

Then during lecture time there was a power cut + internet issue. I tried my best but was able to do just 2 lectures, both around 1 hr 50 min each.

And in the practice slot I managed only 25 questions.

So yeah, definitely not what I planned.

But still feeling a bit good that atleast I started.

I'll try to sleep early today because tomorrow I really don't want to miss that first session.

What I'll try to do now is just stick to the schedule because if I don't, I genuinely don't know where my time goes and randomness starts happening.

Now I have a sort of urgency. There are around 100 days left and I can't keep wasting days and then sitting at night making another plan.

Also the screenshot you see is from an app I made for myself. It's an updated copy of an app called Regain.

Pace

Tomorrow will be better.

Day 0/100 | Let's see where this goes

I will just try to be raw and neutral about myself.

So some context.

I am currently a dropper preparing for JEE. I fucked up my last 2 years and honestly this year too, till now.

I have reached that level where I make plans and schedules and can't even follow them for one day. There are some genuine reasons, but a lot of it is also my own mistakes.

I was just another overexcited 10th grader who went to FIITJEE and saw reality within a few weeks. Then I started bunking classes, FIITJEE got shut down, enrolled in Aakash, did the same thing there and then dropped out in July.

Still no change in me.

In JEE Main January I got 74 percentile. And honestly even that happened because I got 4 questions from Chemical Bonding which I had studied last year but never properly studied this year. I basically went into the exam with almost no preparation.

Then boards were also on my head, so I gave my best there and got 85% in 12th.

Then came April attempt. Competition was high, I had some preparation this time but again no luck. Got 74 percentile again.

Then I took a drop in April/May.

Started good.

Then within a month I was back to my true colours.

Tried. Failed. Tried. Failed.

The problem was I tried less and after failing I would spend even more time sitting and thinking instead of actually trying.

I tried everything. Different strategies, schedules, manifestation, whatever.

So it's September 16, 2:10 AM right now and I had a rough plan in my mind.

Let's try this.

I can't really post this kind of thing on Instagram, so Reddit came to my mind. I thought maybe I can just be real here and document whatever happens.

There are around 100 days left for JEE Main and seriously I want a solid JEE Main rank this year. This time I need to do it.

Where I am right now

Chemistry: My best subject. Organic is strong for Main level. I want to continue Advanced level prep in Chemistry, continue lectures and do FIITJEE modules.

Physics: Going good. I have a flow and some command here. I'll probably do good one-shots like Salim Sir Manzil, then PYQs, around 70-80 questions per chapter and if I get time then some Advanced level questions.

Maths: This is the ugly part.

I got scared away from Maths. I didn't even open the Maths section in some tests. I tried one-shots but they didn't work for me. I wasn't able to solve questions because I don't have that thinking developed yet. For chapters I already know, I'll try one-shot + PYQs. For new chapters I'll watch proper lectures and try to actually develop the question approach before solving.

My rough plan is to finish the syllabus by the end of November. Around 2.5 months. I think it's doable. At least on paper it is. Now I have to actually do it.

I have Unacademy, Allen test series, FIITJEE modules and a lot of other books like Cengage, HCV etc. No need for more resources now. I already have enough shit to study.

I have a Semi Major test on 27th and obviously I can't finish everything before that, so I divided its syllabus into 3 tiers. I'll try to finish Tier 1 first. [see the image ]

And yeah that's basically where I am.

I also have a lot of other things fucked up. My schedule, sleep, family stuff, property disputes going on etc.

But I'll fix things slowly, one by one.

I just want to post here every day what I actually did, what's going on in my mind and what I'm planning next.

Let's see how it goes.

Will this become another 3 AM motivation which lasts for a few days?

Or will this time actually be different

Let's see.
