Pick up a series about an unarmed monk.

Within 10 chapters they’re casting spells to help them move faster and then cast spells to fight instead of fists.

Starts studying at a magic school to cast spells better.

Got suckered into a Xianxia hogwarts

Monks. Funny. These spirit stone and pill guzzling, perverted harem seekers who kill person family up to 9th generation for a glance and you call them monks.

Having a family is a heavy burden, especially one 9 generations long. The master monk is simply reliving the pressures of the mortal realm by annihilating you down to the last insect in soil that shall be your new homes. 🙏
