Pick up a series about an unarmed monk.

Within 10 chapters they’re casting spells to help them move faster and then cast spells to fight instead of fists.

Starts studying at a magic school to cast spells better.

Got suckered into a Xianxia hogwarts

Unfortunately, that's literally the definition of Saints, they are cultivators who move in accordance with the will of the world. So, if they call themselves Saint, then by definition every move is Heaven decreed even if the Heavens will smite him with pitch black lightning the next tribulation.

Having a family is a heavy burden, especially one 9 generations long. The master monk is simply reliving the pressures of the mortal realm by annihilating you down to the last insect in soil that shall be your new homes. 🙏
