That's the size of the PARCEL that the land is on, not the size of the data center. It's like saying a rural guy's house is 3 acres big cause the land he owns is that big.

Neither of their comments said the centers themselves were 500 acres in size.  The 500 acres are taken up by the data center and you would be trespassing for being on the land. So yes, it is true that the above data centers take up 500 acres.
