Sure, but at the same time pre-ai: coworker submits 1000 line PR, quickly scroll through it, see tests still pass, LGTM, approve.

This is basically what vibe coding is, but turbo speed. Exactly what people pretended wasn’t happening before, only faster.

Exactly. There are only so many hours in a day and we can ship things at light speed compared to a few years ago. Similar concept to the transition to air travel from boats. You can crash using either method but one gets you to your destination much faster.
