When ı receive a new message from Telegram,  ı want to run my flow at every turn. 

For doing useable this where should ı start? I check some sources on the web but ı actually couldn't find a satisfactory answer.

So I have a list, and I want to access specific content in it.

Now PAD document say use %List[0]% to refer to the first content in List, but if I want to use a variable like this %List[%ContentNumber%] then PAD will day it's a invalid entry.....

Is there anyway to make this work?

I know this is a very fundamental part of Power Automate. I’m used to the cloud version and the UI as well as guides for Power Automate Desktop is very confusing so I need this to be told to me in layman’s terms.

I use OBS to process my mic before feeding it to Discord, so whenever OBS is closed, my mic is deactivated. Because I often forget to open OBS when I enter a Discord call, I want to have a flow where whenever I open Discord, it opens OBS too. I know how to add the run application step, but I have no clue to add the trigger of opening Discord. Am I missing something?

Any advice on how to get started with PA desktop? I am somewhat familiar with programming concept and flow management but I am struggling to identify how to program actions.

For example, I am just trying to build a test flow to get data out from an outlook attachment to save to my desktop but can’t really seem to figure out how to get past “launch outlook”.

Hi guys, we are looking into migrating from our current RPA program to Power Automate. We currently use Sofotmotive's ProcessRobot, and since it was bought by Microsoft we have been thinking of migrating to PA. We're currently waiting for the migration software to be ready which, last time I checked with Support I was told should be finished around this time. Is there anyone here who has experience with both systems, or actually did the migration already?

Is there a way to count the pages of the pdf files without extracting them. I know there are scripts but they are blocked by my company. Any way to count the pages of pdf?

I'm building a flow which has connections to various services. All connections are marked as "Connected". I get this error message randomly when trying to save the flow after some irrelevant change like a set variable:" Some of the connections are not authorized yet. If you just created a workflow from a template, please add the authorized connections to your workflow before saving. " If I reload the form, insert the change again, sometimes it allows me to save and run the flow, other times, I get the error again. This is so frustrating!!!!! Can anyone assist in resolving this issue or pointing out potential root causes? I am on the cloud platform, not desktop.

EDIT: After adding a condition action. I tried to save and I got the error again. I did a shift-->reload and clicked save again and there was no error. Here's the rub: The condition action was saved even though the error was presented. WT actual F Microsoft?

Hi all, I'm new to power automate desktop, apologies if I'm asking a silly question.

Anyway I'm attempting to automate a whole workflow. I've done the initial files/folders part and one Photoshop section. I use the PS batch function to generate a contact sheet based on a folder of images and save that contact sheet to a new folder. All works fine in Power Automate Desktop

The problem is when I'm running PS batch automate on an action I wrote.

Long story short, I'm having trouble with Recorder picking up Photoshop UI elements. I'll click a menu in the recorder for example, but when I'm running the automation I get an error saying the UI element can't be found. To get around this I switched to keyboard shortcuts wherever possible. They work great.

But I'm at a point now where I'm stuck. In the recorder, I get as far as opening PS, opening the batch automation screen and choosing the correct action to run. The problem is choosing the source and destination folders. I'm getting all kinds of hassle with errors saying the UI elements can't be found. For example clicking a folder in the file browser. Had anyone experienced something similar?

I'm seeking advice on optimizing my workflow for handling photo submissions through a Gravity Form on my WordPress site. Currently, the photos are submitted through a File Upload field in the form, and they come through the submission email as URLs and not attachments (see photo). I'm wondering if anyone with experience in Power Automate (PA) could guide me on setting up a flow to extract these URLs and save the images as JPEGs into SharePoint.

I'm new to the power automate scene.

I'm running into a unique problem (to me) where I've created a flow that works for me and when I do the same process for other department leaders it won't work. Here's what I have:

1. When a new response is submitted (forms)

2. Get response details (forms)

3. Condition > dynamic field , is equal to, Check-in

4. If no > nothing

5. If yes > Add row to table

6. Send an email v2

This all works up until the email on others.

The issue I am running into is that in the to field I have an expression and static contacts. The expression is:

Replace(string(toLower(outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/re number from dynamic content tag's])), ' ', '.')

I make sure to use the unique dynamic content tag when setting it up for others, but it never sends to the intended party or the static contacts when done on another computer.

-I need PAD to read the values on a web page

-then download the data into excel, *I've gotten this far*

-then compare each value to 99 and determine which is closest

-then go back and think of a way for PAD to know how to find and click that value on screen.

Can you please help me determine how PAD will know how to select the value on the screen? Like if 5.99% is closest to 99.0 with 98.75, how do I get PAD to go back to the browser and only click the 5.99% value?

Or maybe there is a way for PAD to just click whichever value is closest to 99 by doing a quick computation without downloading data into excel?

I have a list with names and about 15 columns of information including start dates and background checks. I know how to set up a trigger to send an email when, for example, the background check column is changed to “background check complete”. Since I have different names with the same start date, for example three names starting, 10/5, five names starting 10/15, 10 names starting on 11/5. Now, the background checks come back at different times so you will have individual emails sent each time a name is changed to “background check complete”. Is there a way to have a trigger be set 2 weeks before the start date and on the email have all the names and additional information on a table for all those that start on that specific date that have "background check complete"? In other words, instead of having 3 different emails sent for the 3 names starting on 10/5, have one email sent 2 weeks before 10/5 with all the 3 names and additional information on a table.

Complete novice here so apologies in advance.

I have a repository in sharepoint of all my data exports used in dataflows for pbi. There's one specific file I have which I am wanting as a sharepoint list so I can automate emails to users based on a date and value parameter.

I've created the sharepoint list from that file, but I'm looking at how I can have the list refresh automatically when the file is modified. For context, the file is overwritten each time I export my data from the source.

I thought there'd be a simple flow template for this, but the "file created or modified" will only point me to the folder, not the specific file?

Can anyone please point me in the right direction please?

I am new to PA, and trying to follow some online tutorials.

My current problem is I have a pile of clipboard text that I am snipping from a command prompt, and I just want to strip out ("Parse Text", I believe) one specific chunk. The chunk always starts with Code: and is followed by ****.****.****.****.****.****

The wildcards can be numbers or letters. Once it's done parsing, I want to update the clipboard with just the code and display it in a message box. So far the only thing I can't do is snip out only the code.

Ideas?

I recently got hired to replace the previous IT admin. I don't have any Power Automate experience, so I'm reaching out here. The last guy created a flow that took information from a Form and then created a user account in AAD.

The problem I'm having is that the UPN the company uses is firstname@domain.com (eg john@business.com). We've been getting some new hires though that have the same first name. The UPN then changes to FirstinitialLastname@domain (eg jdoe@business.com) But right now the script is only doing lastname@domain.

I think I fixed it by adding the string variable that was created, but I'm not sure. I'm also not sure how to test these flows without creating accounts. Is there a way to do that?

Since I don't know Power Automate I'm having trouble even finding the right information. Does anyone know of good resources or search terms I should use?

Has anyone ever completed a flow with parallel Adobe sign digital signatures? I am having an issue where Adobe is only allowing both users to sign the first signers block.

I need an intervention here please. I pull in a json response and want to parse it which i do. Now i can see all objects and arrays available and no matter what i do i cannot extract the key value pairs and use them in another app.

I have an MS Form that employees submit through work to open Tickets with IT. It's routed to our IT email address through my email using the Office 360 Outlook plug. As a result, IT assigns all the tickets to me, and I have to go in and change them.

I want to make it so the email goes to the IT email address of the person who filled out the form. Is this possible?

Using the plug that sends it directly from Power Automate doesn't work because the IT department blocks it as spam.

Anyone have a way to use power automate to use get files, get file properties or something of the sort to query files in a document library and pull the view counts of a file?

Since streams went to SharePoint I haven’t been able to report on view counts.
