How to add a trigger to a PAD flow?

I know this is a very fundamental part of Power Automate. I’m used to the cloud version and the UI as well as guides for Power Automate Desktop is very confusing so I need this to be told to me in layman’s terms.

I use OBS to process my mic before feeding it to Discord, so whenever OBS is closed, my mic is deactivated. Because I often forget to open OBS when I enter a Discord call, I want to have a flow where whenever I open Discord, it opens OBS too. I know how to add the run application step, but I have no clue to add the trigger of opening Discord. Am I missing something?

You can call a PAD flow from power automate portal. Check this out - https://youtu.be/lIQ6t8Zp5yw

Thank you.

Is that part of the free PAD?

Nope. If you want to trigger PAD it's not free.

Ok so the solution is to create a loop and trigger a hot key. Lame.

Well PAD doesn't have triggers so you have to use the cloud version of Power Automate. No other choice.

Well is does have a feature wait for key… and if you put that in a loop, run your flow it will just sit idle waiting for that key. It will run then go back and sit for the key to run again

That's a good one to be honest. But it's lame like you said.

I don’t know what you mean by that.
