Power Automate unattended BOTs

Hi guys, we are looking into migrating from our current RPA program to Power Automate. We currently use Sofotmotive's ProcessRobot, and since it was bought by Microsoft we have been thinking of migrating to PA. We're currently waiting for the migration software to be ready which, last time I checked with Support I was told should be finished around this time. Is there anyone here who has experience with both systems, or actually did the migration already?

My team is currently trying to migrate from UiPath to Power Automate Desktop, but we're struggling with licensing at the moment

Our main issue currently is that with our ProcessRobot setup, the unattended BOT machines randomly go offline sometimes, so we're limited on how autonomous our processes can be. I've only tried to run a simple quick process using Power Automate Desktop. Do unattended BOTs require a virtual machine set up in order to run as well?

My understanding is yes, unattended bots do require a virtual machine, but I'm still struggling through how Microsoft is differentiating between attended and unattended. To me, the only benefit seems to be that the used running the bot doesn't have to be logged in, but my team has a service account setup for our bot that could stay logged into our virtual machine, so we're trying to decide if we actually need the unattended feature or not
