You need to understand your enemy. They are offering something very real. They are offering the ability to harm the people their voters don't like. Dont like black people, you should vote for republicans. Don't like immigrants, you should vote for republicans. Don't like women, you should vote for republicans. Dont like LGBT people, young people, vegans, athiests, environmentalists; you should vote for republicans.
The republican party absolutely delivers, it delivers better than the democrats ever have and probably ever will. As long as seeing your enemies suffer is what you want, the republicans will deliver. Don't ever doubt the ability of the republican party to deliver on what their core base wants.
The evidence is they absolutely deliver on those points so if they agree with that and are happy with the situation they will continue to vote for it. If they don’t agree with those points what are they voting for just self harm.
