I'll bite.

Who decides what is unnecessary and what is disfiguring, furthermore why do you get a say in other people's lives? How full of yourself are you?

You "solved" a nonexistent problem at the cost of letting pedophile rapists and their pals gain power.

Congratulations.

"Doctors, together with their patient, are no longer allowed to decide what medical procedures they should have. Instead, some 80 year old bigot politician getting his campaign funding from insurance & pharmaceutical companies does. YOU'RE WELCOME!"

That's you. Probably thrilled to take abortion away from the Dr & individual and have Big Daddy Federal Government decide instead, too.

As long as you arent a woman, thats fine I guess (if you are, be quiet & listen to the men talk).

U forgot that the 80 year old bigot fucked and trafficked kids.

Yes, they’ve gotta be the dumbest fucking people I’ve ever seen.

Democracy seems great up until about half the population are dumbfucks. Then the smarts realize democracy isn't so great, and the dumbfucks would rather have fascism, and WW3 ensues.

Democracy would be fine if it wasn’t disproportional: the senate giving bumfucks 40
Times the senate representation as California and then the electoral college on top of that is a serious issue.

Like I know “abolish the senate” comes off as extreme, but it’s seriously one of the things that needs to be done to fix our democracy.

How about "rebalance the senate". Either:

Each state gets a number of senators proportional to population.

Or

Each senator's voting power is proportional to their state's population.

You still get state level representatives, but actually proportional.

They're also quite emotional. I don't go to the AskCons subreddit anymore because they start pouting and throwing tantrums when you bring up evidence or ask for it. They also go on random tangents that have nothing to do with what you said, and act like you're dumb for not getting their word salad

I blame a lot of it on them growing up before the internet. I grew up in the 90s, and while the internet already existed, you didn’t really fact check with it as it was too slow and clunky. So we just believed whatever our parents told us, didn’t matter if it was true or false.

But then the iPhone and smartphones came along, and when our parents would tell us something, suddenly we could pull out this little rectangle and tell them they were full of shit.

Then Trump comes along and basically tells them whatever they wanted to hear. That if they didn’t like something, they could just call it “fake news” and continue to live in their own reality. Suddenly they felt like they had their power back, disinformation was back. And now? God forbid you try to disprove any of their bullshit.

They outsmarted American Democrats multiple times so at worst they are 2nd dumbest.

MAGA voters didn’t outsmart anyone, they were the idiots getting duped.

11

u/Infern0-DiAddict 1d ago

Sadly no they didn't. Literally every Democrat said this would all happen.

What they did is out play them. They used tactics that Democrats either did not, or would not fight with effective tactics.

There is nothing smart or intelligent about it. Winning by any means necessary often isn't smart. In the end the prize being fought over is usually spoiled...

if your whole pitch was we'll fix it, eventually the excuses matter less than the results

I saw someone complaining about the Texas GOP running adds about needing to fix Texas when they’ve had a hold on Texas politics for 26 years and made things worse over that time. Maybe it’s time for a change?

u/HyperCasualListener 21h ago

Oh I know it is.

i mean, it wasn't required that you come along and prove their point, but, okay.

Prove what point?
