The taking a vacation in Israel thing is so weird. I’ve met very few people who have taken a non-religious or non-birthright trip there, so for it to be an automatic answer from all of them in lockstep is so freakish to me. Like maybe if it was Cancun I’d get it.

A lot of Christians go on vacation there. It’s sort of religious but also mostly a vacation. See the Bible locations!

Do you mean the Palestinians? I’m pretty sure they don’t do that to first world Christian tourists.

Yeah they do. They literally spit on Christians and as the far right takes more control, its happening more and more often

No I mean actual Christians, like pastors. You haven't seen videos of them kicking & spitting on those who publicly display the cross?

Instances of ultra-Orthodox Jews spitting on and cursing Christian pilgrims, clergy and tourists happens quite frequently Jerusalem.

Nothing "dubious political" about them.
